We lift our hearts in unity, echoing the powerful prayer of Ephesians 3:14-20, as we seek the Holy Spirit’s transformative work in our lives. This passage reminds us of the boundless love of Christ and the infinite power of God, who is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine. Father, we come before You, acknowledging that true strength and wisdom come only through Your Spirit dwelling within us. We ask that You grant us the grace to be rooted and grounded in Your love, that we may comprehend its width, length, depth, and height, far beyond human understanding.
Lord, we confess that without You, we are weak and incomplete. We need Your power to strengthen our inner man, that Christ may dwell richly in our hearts through faith. Fill us with the fullness of Your Spirit, that we may walk in obedience, holiness, and unwavering trust in You. Help us to surrender every area of our lives, our thoughts, desires, and actions, to Your perfect will. Let Your love overflow from us to others, that they may see Christ in us and be drawn to the hope of the Gospel.
We also recognize that this prayer is only possible because of the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of complacency or self-reliance that would keep us from fully surrendering to You. We reject the lies of the enemy that whisper we can live apart from Your power or that Your love is not enough. Instead, we declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. May Your glory shine through Your church, in every generation, forever and ever. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
