We lift our hearts in unity, echoing the profound prayer of Ephesians 3:14-20, as we seek the Holy Spirit’s power to strengthen us in our inner being. Father, we bow before You, the giver of every good and perfect gift, asking that Christ may dwell richly in our hearts through faith. Root us deeply in Your love, Lord, so that we may grasp the vastness of Your love, its width, length, depth, and height, which surpasses all human understanding. Fill us with the fullness of Your Spirit, that we may walk in the power and might that You alone provide.
Heavenly Father, we recognize that it is only through the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We confess that apart from Christ, we are lost and without hope, but in Him, we are made new, forgiven, and adopted into Your family. If there is anyone reading this who has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. May they turn from sin, believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).
Lord, we ask that You would empower us to live lives that reflect Your glory, walking in holiness and obedience to Your Word. Help us to resist the temptations of this world, whether they be in our thoughts, actions, or relationships. Father, we know that Your design for marriage is sacred, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). For those who are seeking a spouse, we pray that You would guide them to a godly partner who loves You above all else. Guard their hearts from impurity, and help them to honor You in their courtship, reserving all sexual intimacy for the marriage bed, as You have commanded (Hebrews 13:4).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, lust, or rebellion that would seek to distort Your perfect design for relationships. Father, we stand against the lies of this world that promote sexual immorality, same-sex relationships, or any other sin that dishonors You. Your Word is clear: "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Yet we also know that those who turn to Christ in repentance are washed, sanctified, and justified in His name (1 Corinthians 6:11). We pray for those struggling with these sins, that they would find freedom and healing in You.
Lord, we ask that You would fill us with boldness to proclaim Your truth in love, even when it is unpopular. Give us compassion for those who are lost, but never compromise on Your Word. May we be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
We trust in Your promise that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. To You be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
