We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer from Ephesians 3:14-20, for it is a beautiful cry of the heart to know Christ more deeply and to be filled with the fullness of God. This passage reminds us that true strength comes not from our own efforts, but from the Holy Spirit working within us, rooting us in the unshakable love of Christ. Father, we echo this prayer with you, asking that You would indeed strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner beings, so that Christ may dwell richly in our hearts by faith.
Lord, we recognize that to comprehend the width, length, depth, and height of Your love is beyond human understanding, yet You invite us to experience it. We ask that You would open our eyes to see Your love in ways we have never known before, that we would not just know about Your love, but that it would transform us from the inside out. Fill us with all the fullness of God, that we may walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received.
We also acknowledge that this prayer is only possible because of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can come before You, Father. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If there is anyone reading this who does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes and is justified, and with the mouth that one confesses and is saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Father, we stand in awe of Your power, which is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think. We surrender our lives afresh to You, trusting that Your plans for us are good, and that Your love will never fail. May Your glory be revealed in and through us, in the Church, and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
