LORD, we ask for The Holy Spirit to speak to us in every way by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love, John 15:10, Your Word as a lamp to our feet, and a light unto our path, Ps 119:105, To speak according to the Law and The Testimony, Isaiah 8:20, Holy Spirit Visions while Awake ️ Dreams While Sleeping, Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9... Father, we come as little children in faith, asking the goal of our instruction, Love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34.

We agree, Matt 18:19, with this husband for himself, his wayward wife, children, family, extended family, ***prayer & ministry partners, church leaders, churches and team members -- You speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: give warning dreams, as it is written in Job 33:14, "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, as they slumber in their beds, 16 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword." Again, as with the affairs concerning our father, Abraham you warned Abimelech to keep him from death, Gen 20:3.

Like Abraham, we are imperfect but growing, and we believe Your promises, in fact we are fully persuaded You are able to fulfill what You promise, Rom 4:21, granting us everything we need for both life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3-4. Pour out Your Holy Spirit on these named above, as prophesied in in Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your youth will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days," Joel 2:28-29, c.f. Acts 2:17-18. Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times on those saved Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, and unsaved alike, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, until present, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,"Job 42:2 We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your incomprehensible peace as promised, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20...

We join together with you in this earnest cry for the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and hearts to Your Word and to speak to us in every way that aligns with Your holy will.

We love your hunger for the Word of God and your desire to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in you. We agree that Your word is a lamp to our feet, and a light for our path Psalm 119:105 and that He opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45. We thank you for asking according to Isaiah 8:20 that we speak according to the law and the testimony, for if we do not speak according to this word, there is no light in us. This is the essential foundation we cling to, and we encourage you to continue to make the written Word of God the supreme test for every vision, dream, prophecy, counsel, or impression.

We do rejoice that God does still speak and lead His people. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27 and For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Romans 8:14. We agree with you that God has spoken in dreams and visions in the past to Joseph Matthew 1:20, to the wise men being warned in a dream Matthew 2:12, to Abimelech Genesis 20:3, and as Job declares For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man Job 33:14-17. And we hold to the promise you quoted, It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions Joel 2:28.

Yet we also gently remind ourselves that we must test all things. We are told do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophesies. Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 and Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. Dreams and visions must never contradict or add to Scripture, for Your Word is complete and sufficient, and Your Spirit will never lead contrary to it. We pray not for sensational experiences but for clear, biblically grounded leading that produces love from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith 1 Timothy 1:5.

We lift up this husband, his wayward wife, their children, family, extended family, prayer and ministry partners, church leaders and churches. Father, we pray first for this marriage, for we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. We pray for this wife who has wandered. If her waywardness has involved fornication or adultery, we lovingly but plainly call it sin, for You have said You will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 and Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. We pray You would grant her godly sorrow that leads to repentance, that You would open her ears in the night as in Job 33:16 to turn her from wrongdoing and keep her from pride, to preserve her soul from the pit.

We pray for this husband to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25, to not grow weary in doing good, to walk in humble faith like Abraham who being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform Romans 4:21, remembering that You grant to us all things that pertain to life and godliness 2 Peter 1:3. Give him wisdom and godly counsel according to Isaiah 11:2, keep him abiding in Your love John 15:10 and abiding in Your Word John 15:7 so that whatever he asks according to Your will he may receive.

We agree together for Your protection over each one named, that You would not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matthew 6:13, that You would keep us from deception, from lies and from the schemes of the evil one, for we know the whole world lies in the power of the evil one 1 John 5:19 and that Satan deceives the whole world Revelation 12:9. We ask that You would make Your will unmistakably clear through Your Word first, and then through godly counsel, divine appointments as Man's steps are ordained by Yahweh Proverbs 20:24, through the faithful preaching of the Word as faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Romans 10:17, and if it pleases You, through dreams and visions that align perfectly with Scripture and turn hearts back to You.

We thank You that Jesus lives to make intercession for us Hebrews 7:25 and that at Your right hand He also makes intercession for us Romans 8:34. We thank You that with You nothing will be impossible Luke 1:37 and that the things which are impossible with men are possible with God Mark 10:27. We know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be restrained Job 42:2 and that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5.

So we pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only access to the Father for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Father, pour out Your Spirit upon this family, convict the wayward, comfort the brokenhearted, heal this marriage for Your glory, grant repentance and restoration where there has been sin, grant dreams and warnings that preserve from the pit if You so will, but above all cause us all to hear the Shepherd's voice through Your Word and follow You faithfully. We make our requests with thanksgiving, trusting Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7, and we thank You in advance believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us 2 Corinthians 1:20. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear how much you want to walk closely with the Lord and to recognize His leading in everyday life, whether through His Word, a message you hear on Sunday, counsel from others, or a quiet sense in prayer. And we hear your love for your wife, your children and family, and those who serve alongside you. We are joining you in prayer for each of them.

Wanting to hear the Shepherd's voice is a good desire, and learning to recognize it often grows slowly, more like training over time than a single moment of trying. Small, steady practices tend to bear the most fruit, staying rooted in the Word as your sure guide, bringing any impression or dream back to what you know of God's character, and checking it with a couple of trusted, mature believers who know you and your family.

If it helps, you might keep a simple notebook for this season. Write down what you sense the Lord may be highlighting, what Scripture it brings to mind, and what counsel you receive. Over weeks you can look back together and see patterns with more clarity and peace.

Father, we thank You that You draw near to those who seek You. We ask You to keep this husband abiding in Christ and in Your love, to guard his wife, children and family, and to give wisdom to their pastors and ministry partners. Give them quiet confidence, clear steps for today, and protection from confusion and discouragement. Lead them in Your way. In Jesus' name, amen.
