🙇🏻 Holy Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & His Exceedingly Great Strength, Eph 1:15-23

Nochaeld

Beloved Warrior
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, we DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Lord's True Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah) from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join you in gratitude for the faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that is evident among us and the love shown to all the saints. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the apostle Paul’s own prayer in Ephesians 1, and we echo your heart’s cry for deeper revelation, wisdom, and understanding of God’s calling, inheritance, and power. This is a prayer fully aligned with Scripture, and we stand with you in lifting it before the throne of grace.

Father in Heaven, we come before You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Father, and we ask that You would indeed grant us the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know You more intimately. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts, Lord, so that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and the incomparable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. This power is the same as that which raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion, not only in this age but also in the one to come. You have placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.

Lord, we thank You for the truth that in Christ, we are no longer in darkness but have been called into Your marvelous light. We pray that this revelation would transform our lives, our thoughts, and our actions. May we walk in the fullness of what You have accomplished for us through Jesus, living as those who are seated with Him in the heavenly realms, far above the struggles and trials of this world. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to live out this calling with boldness, humility, and unwavering faith.

We also recognize that this prayer is not just for personal edification but for the building up of the body of Christ. May we, as Your church, reflect the unity, love, and power that You have ordained for us. Help us to stand firm in the truth of Your Word, to encourage one another, and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity and conviction. Let us not be swayed by the wisdom of this world but be firmly rooted in the wisdom that comes from above.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or complacency that would seek to hinder us from walking in the fullness of what You have revealed. We declare that Your Word is true, Your promises are sure, and Your power is limitless. We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. It is through Him alone that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are reconciled to You.

For those among us who may not yet fully understand the hope of their calling or the riches of their inheritance in Christ, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Open their eyes to see the beauty of Your salvation and the glory of Your kingdom. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and fill them with a hunger for Your Word and a passion for Your presence.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will and for Your glory. May our lives be a testament to the surpassing greatness of Your power and the riches of Your grace. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We feel the ache and the longing behind this prayer, a heart reaching for the One who alone can satisfy our deepest need to know Him. What you’ve asked echoes the very cry of the Spirit within us, and we believe He is pleased with such bold, biblical asking. We join you in it, not as people who have arrived, but as those who are also learning to see with the eyes of our hearts enlightened.

When we ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, we’re not asking for an abstract concept but for a Person to shape how we see everything: our circumstances, our past, our future, even our pain. This isn’t about gaining more information but about being anchored in the hope of His calling, a hope that doesn’t depend on our feelings or our ability to figure things out. In our own lives, we’ve found that this kind of wisdom often comes quietly as we sit with the Lord in daily prayer and in the company of other believers who model patient trust.

So today we simply pause and pray with you, without trying to manufacture an answer. We trust that He who began this good work in you will continue to open your understanding and steady your heart.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for this one who hungers to know You more. We ask that You give, truly give, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deepest places of their heart. Enlighten their eyes to grasp the living hope You’ve called them into, the inheritance that is already theirs in You, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power at work in them. Quiet every distraction and fear, and let them rest in the reality that they are held by the same power that raised You from the dead. In Your name we pray, amen.

You have lifted your heart to the throne of grace and asked for something that delights the Father to give, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. That is not a prayer that falls to the ground unheard. When a soul truly yearns to know the hope of His calling and the exceeding greatness of His power, it is the breath of the Holy Spirit already stirring within. The very desire is the first gleam of the answer; the longing itself is a token that the Lord is near.

Think of it: the same power that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, that rolled away the stone and shattered the bands of mortality, is moving toward you who believe. Not a fraction of that strength, not a stray remnant, but the whole immeasurable weight of omnipotence that lifted Christ from the grave and seated Him high above all rule and authority, that very power is the portion of His church. When a great ship presses through deep waters, the ocean itself seems to conspire against it, yet the unseen hand of the tide and the current bears it onward; so the exceeding greatness of His might is at work beneath you and around you, carrying you safely toward the harbor. You need not strain to muster strength of your own. The same Lord who hushed the winds with a word and made the waves solid beneath His feet has pledged His power to the weakest saint who trusts in Him.

And what of the hope of His calling? Earthly hopes wear us out. Men chase after satisfaction in wealth or standing or the poor pleasures of the hour, and they grow weary in the length of their way, still saying, “There is hope,” though they have found nothing but the life of their hand, just enough for today, with no promise for eternity. But the hope into which God has called you is of another kind altogether. It is not the spider’s web of self-righteousness, nor the broken cistern of worldly comfort. It is a hope laid up for you in heaven, anchored within the veil where Christ has gone. When a love-letter comes in a black-edged envelope, we may tremble before we open it, but when we break the seal we find tidings of a rich inheritance reserved for us in a land where death cannot enter. The riches of His glorious inheritance among the saints are not fading; no moth can corrupt them, no thief can steal them, and no sorrow can dilute them. You are called out of darkness into His marvelous light, and though you may now see only as through a lattice, the day is coming when you shall behold the King in His beauty.

Do not think it strange that you cannot grasp the whole circle of divine truth. The heavens above you are vast beyond all measuring, and so is the Word of God. No man can hold the firmament in his hand, but that does not keep him from walking beneath its stars and rejoicing in their light. Hold firmly what you have learned, but always be ready to learn more. The Father who revealed the Son to Peter not by flesh and blood but by direct disclosure will open the eyes of your heart wider still. The same Jesus who stood under the sycamore tree and called Zaccheus by name, the same Good Shepherd who knows His own and speaks personally to each wandering lamb, is not far from you now. He is not reluctant to be known; He is the little Lamb of God, full of tender approachableness, who says still, “Come unto Me.” Even after many a cold neglect, He stands and calls, not turning away. His heart yearns over those who labor and are heavy laden, and He delights to give rest.

So trust Him with the handling of these eternal matters, and with the lesser ones too. To handle any matter wisely is to place it in His hands and leave it there. This is the clue to the most intricate labyrinth, the lever that lifts the most crushing weight. Happy is the soul that trusts in the Lord.

Let us lift our hearts together now.

Lord Jesus, we thank Thee that the power which raised Thee from the dead is not a spent force but an ever-flowing river of might toward all who believe. Pour out the Spirit of wisdom and revelation upon Thy child, that the eyes of the heart may be flooded with light. Let the hope of Thy calling be an anchor sure and steadfast, and let the riches of Thy inheritance gleam before the soul like a city whose builder and maker is God. We ask not because we are worthy, but because Thou art faithful. Hold us fast, and bring us at last to the marriage supper of the Lamb, where we shall know even as we are known. Amen.

"For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
"It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it." Isaiah 55:11
Praying in agreement the power of scriptures you have quoted be at work in your life and all praying with you as well in Jesus Name Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer, lifting up your heart’s desire to know God more intimately through the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation. What a beautiful and powerful passage you shared from Ephesians—it reminds us all of the richness of our inheritance in Christ and the surpassing greatness of His power available to us as believers. We have continued to pray that the eyes of your heart would be flooded with divine light, that you would grasp the hope of His calling, the glorious riches of your inheritance, and the immeasurable strength of His might at work within you.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in any way—whether through fresh revelation, deeper understanding, or a heightened awareness of His presence—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage many others who are also seeking to know Him more. On the other hand, if you feel this prayer has not yet been fully realized, we invite you to post it again as a new request. We are committed to standing with you in persistent, faith-filled prayer until the Holy Spirit fulfills His work in your life.

May the Father of glory continue to draw you closer to Himself, revealing more of His Son, Jesus Christ, through the power of His Spirit. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our risen and reigning Lord. Amen.
