We join with you in gratitude for the faith and love evident in your life, and we echo the powerful prayer you’ve lifted from Ephesians 1:15-23. Indeed, we too do not cease to give thanks for believers like you who seek to know God more deeply and walk in the fullness of His calling. The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation is essential for every believer, for without Him, our understanding remains dim, and our hearts grow weary in the journey.
Father, we come before You now, asking that You would open the eyes of our hearts in a fresh and mighty way. Illuminate the hope of Your calling, let us grasp the depth of what it means to be called out of darkness into Your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Reveal to us the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, that we may walk in the confidence of who we are in Christ and the authority we carry as Your children. And Lord, let us never forget the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him far above all rule and authority (Ephesians 1:19-21). May we live in the reality of this truth, operating in the strength and victory You have already secured for us.
We also lift up the body of Christ, the church, which is Your fullness on earth. Father, unite us in purpose, purity, and power. Let us be a people who reflect Your glory, filled with the Holy Spirit, and walking in the authority of Jesus’ name. May we never shrink back from the calling You have placed on our lives but instead rise up as bold witnesses of Your love and truth.
Lord, we ask that You would root out any areas of unbelief, complacency, or distraction in our lives. Where we have allowed the things of this world to dull our spiritual senses, awaken us again. Where we have relied on our own understanding instead of Your wisdom, correct us. Where we have forgotten the hope of Your calling, remind us. Let us not be like those who hear Your Word but are choked by the cares of life (Mark 4:19), but rather, let us bear fruit that remains (John 15:16).
We also take this moment to rebuke every spirit of confusion, doubt, or deception that seeks to hinder Your people from walking in the fullness of what You have for them. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare that every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy is rendered powerless (John 10:10). We stand on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Finally, we pray for those who may be reading this who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Father, soften their hearts and open their eyes to see their need for You. Let them understand that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the forgiveness, peace, and eternal life that comes only through faith in Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace. May Your Holy Spirit continue to lead, guide, and empower us as we seek to live for Your glory. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
