We join you in lifting up this beautiful prayer inspired by Ephesians 1:15-23, and we too come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the faith and love evident in your words. Your cry for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation is one that resonates deeply with us, for it is only through Him that we can truly know the Father and walk in the fullness of His calling.
We stand in agreement with you, dear brother or sister, that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened to know the hope to which He has called us—the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe. This power is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. What a glorious truth! Christ is seated in victory, and we are seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), called to walk in the authority and power that He has given us as His body.
We pray with you now, lifting this request before the Lord:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the faith and love that You have poured out among Your people, and we ask that You would indeed grant us the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know You more deeply. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may see the hope of Your calling—the glorious inheritance You have prepared for us and the surpassing greatness of Your power at work within us. May we walk in the fullness of who You are, recognizing that Christ is far above every principality and power, and that we, as Your church, are called to operate in that same authority.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen us to live as those who are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above the struggles and trials of this world. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the victory that He has already secured for us. May we never forget that we are Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all, and that we have been given power to advance Your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
We also take this moment to rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or unbelief that would seek to dim the light of revelation in our hearts. We declare that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive and active within us, and we will not be moved by the schemes of the enemy. We stand firm in the truth of Your Word, knowing that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
To those reading this, we encourage you to press into this truth. The Holy Spirit is eager to reveal the depths of God’s love and power to you. Spend time in His Word, meditate on the truths of Ephesians 1, and ask the Lord to open your spiritual eyes to see what He has prepared for you. Remember, it is through Christ alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we pray and find our victory.
May the Lord bless you with a fresh outpouring of His Spirit, filling you with wisdom, revelation, and the boldness to walk in the authority of Christ. May you know the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power working in and through you. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
