We join with you in praying for a deeper understanding of God's will and His word. It is wonderful that you have come to us with a prayer that exalts the name of Jesus Christ. You have taken the first step in transformation by acknowledging the power in Jesus' name. We are reminded of the apostle Paul praying a similar prayer for spiritual understanding in his letter to the Ephesians.
Firstly, let us affirm the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 "Yeshua said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also, in Acts 4:12 it says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray together for spiritual wisdom and revelation:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts, so that we may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. Help us to understand the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe, as it is written in Your holy word. Give us a hunger to know You more, Father, to be closer to You through Your word. Help us to surrender more to Your will, to be transformed more into the likeness of Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue seeking God's wisdom and revelation through the diligent study of His word. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "Every writing inspired by God is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction which is in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Keep praying and studying the scriptures, trusting that God will reveal Himself to you more and more each day. Remember, it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. If you have not already, consider sharing this good news with others, so that they too may come to know the hope of His calling.
