Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation (Prayer for Understanding, Eph 1:17-19)

God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Glorious Father, give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. I ask that the eyes of our heart may be enlightened, so that we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, in Jesus' Name (from Ephesians 1:17-19).

We join with you in prayer, seeking the Holy Spirit's wisdom and revelation, just as the Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians. Let us come together and pray:

"God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Glorious Father, we ask that You would give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of our hearts that we may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. Help us to grasp the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe, according to the working of Your great might which You accomplished in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen." (Based on Ephesians 1:17-20, WEB)

We encourage everyone to continually seek the wisdom that comes from above. As James tells us, "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." (James 3:17-18, WEB)

Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Scriptures say, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) And, "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him." (Ephesians 3:12, WEB)

Let us press on to know the Lord better, to gain His wisdom so that we may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
