🕊️Holy Spirit Conviction from SERMON TODAY... Jn16:18, Matrimonial Spouse Repents 2Pet 3:9 🙏 Godly Sorrow Produces Repentance unto Life 2Cor 7:10, Reconciliation 2Cor 5:20... Father, thank You "Even when we don't see it You're working, Even when we don't feel it You're working -- Never stops, Never stops working, Never stops, Never stops working" as the song sings, JUST as Jesus says, "My Father is always working even until now, and I, too, am working," Jn 5:17. 🙌 Father, for the sake of Your Word, Eph 5:32, Our vows, Ecclesiastes 5:2, and our offspring, Mal 2:15 -- Grant the free gift of godly sorrow producing a LASTING CHANGE OF HEART AND MIND, 2 Cor 7:10… I forgive that she did not honor her commitments to attend Bible Study, Church and Biblical Marriage Counseling WE AGREED to BEFORE I left My Home Country 🇺🇸 Nor her COMMITMENT to REBUILDING the relationship while I was there in Asia, but instead deserted me — “A righteous person keeps their promises even when it hurts,” Ps 15:4; and "Do not delay your vows to God -- He takes no pleasure in fools. Better to not vow than make God angry and destroy the work of Your hands, Ecclesiastes 5:4-6. "Let your 'yes' be 'yes,' (anything beyond that is evil, says Jesus), Matt 5:37. Release the CONVICTION of The Holy Spirit's righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:18. I ask, as You will, that she would not PERISH but come to REPENTANCE, 2 Pet 3:9. Give Your angels charge over her, him, me, our pastors and prayer partners (including all those who pray and contribute financially's families) -- Grant salvation, 1 Tim 2:4, Acts 16:31-32, and keep us ALL grace to be set apart from sin as Your holy people, Ex 19:5-6, Lev 19:2, Lev 20:26, Zeph 3:13, Matt 5:48, 2 Cor 7:1, 2 Cor 13:7, Eph 1:4, 1 Thes 4:7, Heb 12:14, 1 Pet 1:16, 1 Jn 3:3, Rev 14:5. Keep us from temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8. Let trials draw us closer to You, encourage others, Phil 1:12, 2 Cor 1:6, Eph 6:20, and help incite fervency in our prayer, James 5:13-17, Help us study the Bible, 2 Tim 2:15. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, Lk 24:45...

Let us rejoice in trials and count them joy, expediting worship, fasting, seeking, finding, reading, memorizing and writing words of edification and things that accompany salvation, and not shrink back from the warnings of Scripture, but let the Gospel go forth in times of peace and freedom, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and in the midst of opposition, 1 Thes 2:2. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. Let us hear Your voice, John 10:27, and always be lead by The Holy Spirit as children of God, Rom 8:14 as we are truly adopted children of God, John 1:14, 1 Jn 3:2-3, Let the Word of The Lord Spread RAPIDLY and BE GLORIFIED as YOU keep us from deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration in your marriage, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting this situation before the throne of grace. The pain of broken vows and unmet commitments is deep, but we know that God is a restorer of what is broken when repentance and humility are present. You have shown great patience and forgiveness, and we commend your commitment to honoring God’s design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:32).

The Scriptures you’ve cited—John 16:8, 2 Peter 3:9, and 2 Corinthians 7:10—remind us that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, that God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, and that godly sorrow leads to repentance. We join you in praying that your spouse would experience the weight of the Holy Spirit’s conviction, not for condemnation, but for redemption. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May she feel the urgency of Ecclesiastes 5:4-6, understanding that vows made before God are sacred and must not be taken lightly.

We also recognize your own need for strength and wisdom as you navigate this trial. Forgiveness is a command, not an option (Colossians 3:13), and you have already taken that step. But forgiveness does not mean ignoring sin or enabling unrepentant behavior. We pray that you would have discernment to know how to respond in a way that honors God—whether that means standing firm in truth, extending grace, or seeking godly counsel. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before Your throne. Lord, You see the pain, the broken promises, and the longing for restoration. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, softening hearts and opening eyes to the truth of Your Word. Convict, O Holy Spirit, of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance and life (2 Corinthians 7:10). Father, we pray for this wife, that she would turn from her ways and seek You with her whole heart. Break any hardness, remove any deception, and let her see the beauty of Your design for marriage.

We also pray for our brother in this situation. Give him strength to stand firm in faith, wisdom to know how to respond, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard his heart from bitterness and resentment, and fill him with Your love and grace. Lord, if it is Your will, restore this marriage. Let it be a testimony of Your power to redeem and renew. But if restoration is not possible, give him the courage to walk in obedience to You, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask that You would surround them both with godly counsel—pastors, mentors, and prayer warriors who can speak truth in love. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to destroy marriages and families. Keep them from temptation, deception, and the lies of the evil one. Let Your Word spread rapidly in their lives, transforming hearts and minds (2 Thessalonians 3:1).

We thank You, Lord, that You are always working, even when we cannot see it (John 5:17). We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan. May this trial draw them both closer to You and to one another, if it is Your will. Let Your name be glorified in every outcome. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, fasting, and the study of His Word. Trials are opportunities for growth and refinement (James 1:2-4). Lean on the body of Christ for support, and do not hesitate to seek godly counsel from your pastors or trusted spiritual leaders. The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're right there with you, standing in the gap, lifting this situation up to our Heavenly Father. We've been moved by your steadfastness and patience, and we echo your heart's cry for restoration. The pain of broken vows and unmet commitments is real, but we trust in God's power to restore what's been broken.

We're praying for your spouse, that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their actions, leading to godly sorrow and repentance. We're also praying for you, that you would have the strength and wisdom to navigate this trial. Forgiveness is a powerful tool, but it's not a license for continued sin. We pray that you would have discernment to know how to respond, honoring God in all you do.

Let's continue to lift this up together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, burdened but hopeful. We lift up this marriage, trusting in Your power to restore and heal. Convict, Holy Spirit, of sin and righteousness. Bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance and life. Softening hearts, open eyes to the truth of Your Word. Lord, we pray for our sister, that she would turn from her ways and seek You with her whole heart. Break any hardness, remove any deception, and let her see the beauty of Your design for marriage.

We also pray for our brother. Give him strength to stand firm in faith, wisdom to know how to respond, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard his heart from bitterness and resentment, fill him with Your love and grace. Lord, if it's Your will, restore this marriage. But if not, give him the courage to walk in obedience to You.

Surround them both with godly counsel, protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and keep them from temptation and deception. Let Your Word spread rapidly in their lives, transforming hearts and minds.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep seeking the Lord together, trusting in His faithfulness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt plea for the Holy Spirit’s conviction to bring godly sorrow and true repentance to your spouse, that your marriage may be restored according to God’s holy design. It is clear how much you long to see the vows you both made before the Lord honored with faithfulness, humility, and a renewed commitment to walk in His ways. We have stood with you in prayer, lifting up your marriage, your spouse’s heart, and your own steadfast trust in the Father’s unfailing work—even when the evidence of it is unseen.

If the Holy Spirit has moved in power since you first shared this request—if there has been even the smallest shift toward repentance, reconciliation, or a softening of heart—we rejoice with you! Please share this praise with us, that we may glorify God together and encourage others with His faithfulness. But if the answer has not yet come, or if the battle feels heavier than before, we want you to know we are still standing with you. Do not hesitate to post this request again, for we are committed to continuing in prayer until the Lord brings His perfect will to pass.

We pray now, as we have before, that the conviction of the Holy Spirit would fall like fire upon your spouse’s heart—convicting of sin, revealing righteousness, and making clear the judgment that comes without repentance. May godly sorrow produce a lasting change, turning her back to the Lord, to you, and to the covenant you both entered before Him. We ask the Father to guard your hearts from bitterness, doubt, or discouragement, and to fill you instead with supernatural peace, patience, and perseverance as you wait on Him.

We also lift up your own walk with Christ, asking that He would strengthen you to forgive as you have been forgiven, to love as He has loved you, and to trust His timing even when it differs from your own. May He surround you with godly counsel, protect you from the enemy’s schemes, and use this trial to draw you both closer to Himself. Let the Word of God spread rapidly in your home, in your marriage, and in every area of your lives, bringing glory to His name.

We continue to intercede for your family, your pastors, and all who stand with you in prayer, that you would all remain set apart for His purposes, free from deception, and filled with the fullness of His Spirit. May He answer this prayer in a way that exceeds all you could ask or imagine, for His glory and for the testimony of His grace.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
