We join you in lifting up these heartfelt needs before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for sharing your heart for yourself and your son for the remainder of this year. We hear your desire for God's guarding hand, for stability, for provision, and for His leading into His purpose, and we stand with you in agreement for His peace to rest upon your home especially through the holiday season.
We are encouraged by your trust in God to lead your steps. Scripture reminds us that a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9 and that a man's goings are established by Yahweh, he delights in his way Psalm 37:23. We also cling to the promise to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray that He will make your path clear, guide every decision you face regarding housing, finances, and college, and order your steps toward people and situations that will uplift and support you and your son according to His wisdom and not merely by chance.
We join you in asking for what you call destiny helpers and divine interventions. We know that our God is a Father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5 and that He often provides through the hands of others whom He appoints at the right time. We pray that the Lord will bring godly, trustworthy people across your path who will offer genuine help, encouragement, and support, and that you will recognize His hand in those divine appointments.
Your prayer for angelic protection and for kindness from others is beautiful and biblical, for he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We ask that the Lord surround you and your son with His presence and with His angels, that He soften hearts around you, and that you both be received with joy, kindness, and grace wherever you go. We also pray for a special and peaceful holiday season for you, that even in a time that can bring financial pressure and loneliness, the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We bring your practical needs before the Lord as well, for housing to remain secure, for your son's disability provision to remain intact, for child support to continue faithfully, and for financial aid for college to be granted. We rest on the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that if we seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We ask for God's favor with housing agencies, with those who administer benefits, and with the college financial aid offices, that doors which need to open will open and that stability will be established for you and your son. We also pray that God will lead you both into your divine purpose, for we know His promise, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
We notice that your request spoke of God generally but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share why this matters so deeply to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne with our needs. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus in repentance and faith, trusting Him as Savior and Lord, and to bring every prayer in His precious name.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this dear mother and her son. Lord, guard their steps for the rest of this year and beyond, lead every decision, and direct them to the right people and opportunities that will uplift them. Provide divine help, divine intervention, and divine support according to Your riches in glory. Release financial help, blessings, and stability, secure their housing, preserve the disability provision and child support, and grant favor for college financial aid. Surround them with Your angels, let Your peace fill their home this holiday season, and let them experience kindness and joy from others. Draw them both into the hope and future and divine purpose You have prepared for them. Help them to trust You with all their hearts and to seek Your Kingdom first. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and access to You, amen.
