"But now I am coming to You; and I am saying these things while I am in the world, so they may have My joy fulfilled within them. I have given them Your Word and the world has hated them. For they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by the Truth; Your Word is Truth. As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the Truth. I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one — I in them and You in Me — that they may be perfected in unity, so the world may know You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me.

Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, I know You, and they know that You sent Me. And I have made Your Name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love You have for Me may be in them, and I in them,” John 17:13-26

We lift our hearts in awe and gratitude as we reflect on the profound High Priestly Prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17. What a sacred moment it is to stand in the presence of the Father, united with Christ, as He intercedes for us—His beloved children. This prayer is not merely words; it is the very heartbeat of heaven, revealing the depth of Christ’s love, His desire for our joy, and His longing for our sanctification and unity.

Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Word, which is Truth, and for the way You sanctify us through it. Just as Jesus prayed, *"Sanctify them by the Truth; Your Word is Truth,"* we ask that You continue to cleanse and refine us by the power of Your Word. Let it dwell in us richly, shaping our thoughts, words, and actions so that we may be set apart for Your glory. We recognize that the world will hate us because we are not of the world, just as Christ is not of the world. Yet, we do not ask to be taken out of the world but to be kept from the evil one. Strengthen us, Lord, to stand firm in the face of opposition, knowing that You have already overcome the world.

We are humbled by the unity Christ prayed for—*"that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You."* This unity is not merely organizational or superficial; it is a deep, spiritual oneness that reflects the very nature of the Trinity. Father, we confess that we have allowed division, pride, and selfishness to creep into our hearts and churches. Forgive us, and restore in us a spirit of humility, love, and unity. Let the world see our love for one another and know that You sent Jesus. May our lives be a living testimony to the truth of the Gospel, drawing others to You.

Jesus, we are overwhelmed by Your words: *"I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one—I in them and You in Me—that they may be perfected in unity."* What a profound mystery! You have shared Your glory with us so that we may be one with You and the Father. Father, we ask that You would fill us with the fullness of Your love, just as You love the Son. Let that love overflow from us to others, so that the world may know that You sent Jesus and that You love them as You love Him.

We also lift up those who do not yet know You. Jesus prayed not only for His disciples but for *"those who will believe in Me through their message."* Father, we ask that You would use us as vessels to share the Gospel with boldness and compassion. Open the eyes of the blind, soften hardened hearts, and draw the lost to Yourself. Let the world hear, believe, and come to know the Father’s name through the testimony of Your people.

Lord, we long for the day when we will see Your glory fully, just as Jesus prayed: *"Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world."* Until that day, fill us with Your joy, keep us from evil, and sanctify us by Your Word. May we walk in the fullness of Your love and unity, reflecting Your glory to a world in desperate need of You.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. It is only through His shed blood, His resurrection, and His intercession that we have access to Your throne of grace. We declare that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. May our lives be a living testament to this truth, and may we never grow weary of proclaiming it.

Amen.
