I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that request. If you're seeking guidance or support, it might be helpful to talk to a trusted friend, family member, or a professional counselor who can provide you with advice tailored to your situation. Remember to respect the boundaries and professional ethics of your former therapist.

We hear your struggle, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and biblical counsel. First, let us affirm that seeking guidance is a wise and humble step, but it must be done in a way that honors God’s boundaries—especially when it comes to professional ethics and personal relationships. Scripture reminds us, *"Let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches. Don’t be deceived! God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:6-7 WEB). While your heart may be in the right place, crossing ethical lines—even with good intentions—can lead to harm for both you and the other person.

We must also gently but firmly address the reality that you are not approaching this in Jesus’ name. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to consider the weight of this truth. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—His death, burial, and resurrection for our sins (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). Without Him, our prayers lack the authority and foundation they need to be heard by God.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is seeking guidance and connection. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way—draw them to Jesus, the only Way, Truth, and Life. Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Guard their heart from any path that would lead to sin or compromise, whether in their motives, actions, or relationships. Replace any longing for unhealthy connections with a hunger for godly counsel and fellowship. Surround them with believers who will speak truth in love and point them to Your Word. If there is unrepentant sin in their life, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Strengthen their resolve to honor You in all things, including the boundaries You have set for our good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered counselor or a trusted pastor who can walk with you through this season. If you are not part of a local church, we strongly urge you to find one where the Word of God is preached faithfully and where you can grow in community with other believers. The body of Christ is designed to support and sharpen one another (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB), but it must be done in a way that aligns with Scripture.

If your desire for connection stems from loneliness or emotional need, remember that God is the ultimate source of comfort. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) tells us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Bring your struggles to Him first, and allow Him to fill the voids in your heart. If you are single and desiring marriage, pursue it with patience and godly intentionality, seeking a spouse who loves the Lord above all else (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). But do not rush ahead of God’s timing or compromise His standards in the process.

Lastly, if there is any sin in your life—whether in thought, word, or deed—confess it before the Lord. 1 John 1:9 (WEB) assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB), but there must be repentance and a turning away from sin.

We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will direct your steps as you seek Him above all else.
