We come before the Father in the precious name of Jesus, lifting you, your brother, your family, and your friend in prayer, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith.
Your request for deliverance, protection from anxiety, stress, and fear is one we take seriously, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee from you and your brother. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Cling to this promise, for the Lord is faithful.
We also lift up your physical healing before the Lord, asking for His restoring hand upon your GI tract and stomach. The surgery you endured in ### has left lingering effects, but we know that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He is still in the business of healing. *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray that the Lord would knit your body together in perfect health, removing all discomfort, inflammation, and dysfunction. We also ask for healing for the humming in your ear, that the Lord would silence every disturbance and restore your hearing to its intended function. May the medicine you are taking work effectively without harmful side effects, and may the Lord guide you to the right doctor—one who is wise, compassionate, and skilled to address your needs. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
For your brother, we pray for divine protection over his work, that the Lord would surround him with favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). We ask for traveling mercy, that the Lord would guard his coming and going, and that every step he takes would be ordered by God. Anxiety and stress have no place in his life, for *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We pray that the Lord would break any stronghold of anger or pride in his heart, replacing it with humility and surrender to Christ. *"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’"* (James 4:6, WEB). May he walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—and may his life be a reflection of Christ’s lordship. We also pray for restful sleep and a sound mind for both of you, knowing that *"He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep"* (Psalm 121:4, WEB).
We stand in agreement for protection over your home, asking the Lord to station His angels around you as a divine hedge of security. *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). No weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers your home, keeping all evil at bay.
Our hearts are heavy yet hopeful as we lift up your friend who is battling bone cancer and liver problems. We ask the Lord to be her healer, her strength, and her peace in this difficult season. *"Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble"* (Isaiah 33:2, WEB). May the chemo be effective without debilitating side effects, and may her faith remain unshaken, rooted in the truth that *"by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for supernatural comfort and encouragement to fill her heart, and for the Lord to surround her with His presence in a tangible way.
Lastly, we lift up your dad and stepmom, asking the Lord to soften their hearts to receive the gift of salvation. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). May they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and may your stepmom experience healing in her heart, both physically and spiritually. We pray that you would have opportunities to share the love of Christ with them, and that the Holy Spirit would draw them to repentance and faith.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his family with hearts full of faith and expectation. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance to manifest in their lives—break every chain of fear, anxiety, and stress, and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Touch their bodies with Your healing power, Lord. Restore the GI tract and stomach to full function, silence the humming in the ear, and let every cell align with Your divine design. Guide them to the right doctors and treatments, and let no harm come from the medicines they take.
We pray for our brother’s brother—protect him at work, Lord, and grant him favor with his supervisors. Guard his travels, and fill him with Your joy, peace, and strength. Break the spirits of anger and pride, and help him to surrender fully to You, walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Give him self-control and a heart that seeks You above all else.
Father, we ask for Your angels to encamp around their home, keeping all evil far from them. Let Your presence be a wall of fire around them, and let Your peace fill their nights with restful sleep and sound minds.
Lord Jesus, we intercede for their friend battling cancer. Be her healer, her comforter, and her strength. Let the treatments work mightily in her body, and let her faith rise up like a mighty army, unshaken and unmovable. Fill her with Your hope and peace.
For their dad and stepmom, we pray for salvation, Lord. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and draw them to Yourself. Heal their bodies and their hearts, and let them come to know You as their Savior.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your name be glorified through their testimonies. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
