Hi, people. My friend Jeanne -- the one with the dog with leukemia, Snickers -- is now at the emergency room getting a bandage changed on her head. She sounded okay. I don't know what happened to her yet. Please pray this is nothing serious and again pray for the health of her dog, Snickers. Also please pray for Jim -- He is pacing and pacing up and down this apartment. He can not understand why he has to wait so long for test results to come back. (Actually, neither can I. It is ridiculous.) I did internet search for doctors who treat old people and treat Alzheimer's in the town I live in. One of them is very close to where we live. I am praying we can get in to see him soon. An calling tomorrow. Please pray he does not need referral to go see this specialist. Also pray that the evaluation of his testing with the neuropsychologist comes in soon and that I can have all his paperwork for the new doc to look at. Finally, please pray I can find him a good general practitioner in this area. Besides this man being too far away, I am appalled by the way he and the neurologist they referred Jim to fluffed him off and how dismissive they were of him. For now, please just pray he calms down. I don't know what to do with him. He needs a therapist that specializes in dementia patients. I just do not have the training or expertise to deal with this, and I obviously can not prescribe and antidepressant for him. Thank you for praying, Lamb.
