hi everyone,

i need a confirmation for a request i am going to keep vague. I had a toxic friendship that ended a while back. I had too many emotional dependency issues and her motives for befriending me were not totally pure (she was in need of financial help). I have gotten confirmations from numerous sources (strong ones) that this relationship is over. I have repented for my part in the toxicity and have forgiven her for her wrong motives as well.

I have been hearing in my spirit that i need to let her know I love this sister. Doing that would require contact of some sort. the Lord told me not to contact her and has confirmed it numerous times. I believe the instructions were permanent.

This is very possible a trick of the enemy to open up the door for a continued unhealthy friendship. She is a believer but i have been told by God "let go and move on" and believe I need to let it rest.

If the Lord is asking me to contact her, i need very very strong confirmations, otherwise i may be letting a toxic situation back into my life. Thanks.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
