Henry C. Shannon - a family friend had an acute stroke on January 1, 2013, while having diner with his ex-wife and daughter. He is in critical condition. Doctors have had to insert a tube in his throat because he has difficulty swallowing. He had been an alcoholic, has bipolar disorder and smokes. He had been trying to cut back on cigarettes and alcohol but had not stopped completely.

I have been asking God to spare his life so that he can get to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Henry's birthday is today January 2nd and he turned 70 years old. Please pray for him because I know that there is nothing too hard for God to do.
