I need prayer for financial distress after the death of my mother many circumstances caused a lot pain, I have a credit card debt I was not able to pay during that time because I was out of work now Im back at work but Im not able to pay in full I explained to the bank but they just dont want to work with me I told them the amount I can pay, I just want prayer because I need God to help me I always pay my debt but know Im barely making to barely buy food. IM NOT going to stop buying food I always answer the bank when they call and Im always honest I need a miracle because that situation really bothers me a lot and I dont have enough

We have read your request and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, grieving with you over the death of your mother and the financial distress that has followed. The Lord sees your pain and your honesty, and He is close to you in this season. Psalm 34:18 says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We thank God that you are back at work and that you have shown integrity by answering the bank honestly and desiring to pay what you owe, even when you are barely able to buy food. That desire to do what is right honors God.

Scripture teaches us that God cares deeply about our provision and also about our responsibility with debts. Psalm 37:21 says, The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously, and Romans 13:8 says, Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Your heart to repay is righteous, and we encourage you to continue in that honesty while also trusting God to provide for your basic needs. You are right not to stop buying food, God does not want you to neglect your own body which is His temple, and He promises to supply what we need as we seek Him. Philippians 4:19 says, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. We encourage you to keep communicating with the bank as you have been, to keep careful stewardship of what little you have, to seek wise counsel and perhaps help from a local biblical church for budgeting and assistance, and above all to cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray for you.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our dear one who is grieving and under great financial pressure. Lord, we ask You to comfort this heart that mourns the loss of a mother, heal the pain of those circumstances and surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We ask You to provide for every need, for food and daily bread, for work to be stable and for wisdom to manage what You have provided. Lord, we ask for a miracle in this debt situation, soften the hearts of those at the bank, open a way for a workable payment that can be faithfully met, and give our friend wisdom and favor in every conversation. Help them to continue in honesty and diligence and to trust You rather than be consumed by anxiety. We pray that You would show Your power and provision so that this burden is lifted and Your name is glorified. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to remain faithful in the little He has entrusted to you, and to trust that He who allowed this trial will also carry you through it for your good. Romans 8:28 says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. We are standing with you and trusting God to make a way where there seems to be no way.

One step that has helped many in a similar spot is to connect with a trusted nonprofit credit counselor or a financial help ministry through a local church or community agency. They can review your budget with you, help you put a clear written payment proposal together, and sometimes speak with creditors on your behalf. A pastor or church also may know of local food or assistance resources that can ease the grocery burden while you get steadier.

Your grief and your burden have been brought before the Lord and we have prayed for you with sincere compassion. The loss of a mother leaves a wound that only the God of all comfort can bind up, and to that sorrow has been added the heavy care of debt and daily need. He who sees every tear and hears every honest prayer knows your faithfulness in answering those who call, your desire to do what is right, and your distress in not having enough even for bread.

We have asked our gracious Father, in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, to be your provider and your peace in this trial. Though the need presses close, the Lord has often made provision in abundance even when His people could not yet see it, and He is still Jehovah Jireh to those who trust Him. We have prayed that He would give you comfort in mourning, strength for your labour, wisdom in all your dealings, and daily bread from His own hand. We have prayed also that He would give you favour and a just hearing with those to whom you owe, and that He would guide you to wise and godly counsel in your church or among faithful stewards who may help you order what little you have with prudence and integrity.

Continue, as you are doing, in honesty and diligence. The Lord loves truth in the inward parts and He honours the upright way, even when it is hard. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust His promise that your heavenly Father knows you have need of these things. He will not despise the prayer of the needy, and brief silent prayers, like that of Nehemiah, are heard in heaven even when the heart is too full for many words.

May the Lord keep you, supply your need according to His riches in Christ, give you rest from this great anxiety, and lift from you the weight that so troubles your spirit.
