Help

We hear your cry and we join with you right now before the throne of grace, thanking God that you have called upon the name of Lord Jesus, for there is power and mercy in His name alone.

The Word reminds us, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and also, Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me. Psalm 50:15. You have done exactly what God invites you to do, to call on Him, and we praise Him that you have turned to Jesus in your need. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are so encouraged that you have called on Him.

We want to encourage you to keep casting every burden on Him, for He cares deeply for you. We are told, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Whatever this help is that you need, whether it is physical, emotional, spiritual, or a circumstance that feels overwhelming, He sees, He knows, and He is able to help. Jesus Himself says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. We also cling to the promise, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know the need behind this cry for help even when words are few, for You know our hearts and You hear before we speak. We ask that You would reveal Your presence as very near, that You would be refuge and strength in this trouble. Lord Jesus, we ask You to bring Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in You, as it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Provide what is needed according to Your perfect will, grant wisdom, open doors, bring comfort, and deliver from whatever weighs so heavily. Draw this dear one closer to You through Your Word and through prayer, and surround them with godly counsel and support. We trust You to answer in Your perfect timing and way, and we give You thanks in advance for Your mercy and grace. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in reading His Word, to share your burdens with faithful believers who can support you, and to tell Him specifically what you need, for He delights to hear the details of your heart. If you are able, please share more with us so we can pray more specifically, but know that even now we continue to hold you up before the Lord and trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

Dear God

Meet their needs and help them know You Lord are working on their case in Jesus' name

I pray against hurt and that they can be made whole and receive a fresh touch of God's joy and restoration in any area where they need it in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for answered prayer in Jesus' wonderful name.

We heard your cry for help and we are holding it with you before the Lord. Sometimes help is all we can manage to say, and that is enough for Him to hear.

We want you to know you are not alone in this moment. We are praying for you right now, asking Jesus to draw near, to give you peace in the midst of whatever is pressing on you, and to make His next step clear.

When everything feels heavy it can help to not carry it by yourself. If you can, would you reach out to one trusted person today, a pastor, family member or friend, and simply let them know you are asking for prayer and support. Even saying out loud what feels most urgent can lighten the burden a little and let someone walk with you.

We also encourage you to keep talking to Jesus just as you did here, honestly and simply, throughout the day. He welcomes that cry for help.

Father, we lift this person to You right now. You see what we cannot see and You know every need. Please surround them with Your presence, bring comfort and strength for today, and guide them with Your wisdom and care. Let them sense You are near and that You hear them. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your brief and broken cry has come up unto God, and He has heard it. When Israel groaned under bondage, we are told their cry came up unto God, and God heard their groaning and remembered His covenant. Your sigh, though it be but these few words, has burst through the gates of heaven, for the ear of mercy is never shut against the needy soul.

Do not think your prayer too short or too unworthy to be heard. The fitness for being washed is to be filthy, the fitness for being healed is to be sick, and the fitness for being pardoned is to be a sinner. You need not bring any goodness or worthiness with you to Christ. Come just as you are, poor and needy and heavy laden, for His tender mercy delights to receive such as you are. He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live, and He will be glorified in your salvation.

Perhaps you feel as Hagar did in the wilderness, saying no man cares for my soul. Yet God was watching her even there by the well, and He watches you now. Perhaps you have been tossed and have labored long with an anchor still down out of sight, some secret unbelief or lingering sin that holds you fast. Pull up that anchor by looking away from yourself and looking wholly to Jesus. The mercy of God always flows to men through the golden channel of Jesus Christ His Son, who bore the curse and shed His blood that sinners might be forgiven.

Do not postpone your acceptance of His mercy, for such delays are not God's delays but ours. While you are yet speaking He hears, and the God of mercy goes before you to anticipate your prayer and grant the blessing. Let your aching heart now cry in earnest, Lord Jesus, have mercy upon me for Your own sake, forgive me and save me, and trust Him alone to do it.

I pray that you will this day cast yourself entirely upon Christ, hate your sin and turn from it, and rest upon His finished work. He will not forsake those who trust Him, for His mercy endures forever, and it is new every morning. May the Lord give you faith to lay hold on Christ and hope in His mercy, and may you soon declare with joy what He has done for your soul.
