Please help those to help

When all seems lost and the hour is almost gone, then the fullness of God's rescue draws near. You cry out in heat and illness, and the time presses so urgently. Do not let anyone dismiss that cry as imposture. A true friend does not stand idle; brother aided by brother becomes a fortified city. The Lord hears the voice of desperate entreaty, even as He answered the woman who would not be quiet until she received mercy.

He does not give the Spirit by measure. His grace is sufficient when human strength fails and when those around you hesitate. Let those who are close set aside every reluctance. Now is the time to act, not to make excuses. Urgent need requires swift cooperation; to delay is to abandon a soul in the furnace.

Pray also, and God will convict hearts. He is long-suffering and rich in mercy, but He also knows how to rouse the sluggish. Trust that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for this is the heritage of those who serve Him. Cast yourself upon His promise of aid, and do not despair. Help will come as you persist in calling upon Him.

The urgency you are carrying is not hidden from the Lord, and neither is your illness or the pressure of the hour. Do what the moment requires. Send the messages, seek the cooperation, make the appeal clearly and peaceably, but do not imagine that everything rests only on human timing or human willingness. God’s purposes will stand even if someone fails to act or a deadline passes. He can move the hearts of those you are asking to help, and if they refuse, he is not left without a way. He can open another door or use another means to accomplish what he intends.

Isaiah 54:17 holds firm: no weapon formed against you will prosper. That does not guarantee every earthly timetable will go as you hope. It does mean the final outcome is in his hands, and no opposition can undo what he has determined to do. So press forward while there is still opportunity, and then leave the result with him. Pray for those involved, not only that they cooperate, but that they are convicted and drawn to repentance and salvation. The Lord is able to do both at once, to move them to help and to deal with their souls.

Do not let fear drive you outside the protection of trusting him. It is possible to be urgent without being frantic, and to ask strongly without surrendering your peace. Panic and manipulation are not the path of faith. Stay inside quiet confidence in him, even while the time feels short.

I am asking the Lord to strengthen your body, to make a way in this matter if it is his will, to turn the hearts of those whose help is needed, and to give you steady peace as the moment narrows.
