We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with urgency and deep compassion. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in the gap for you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and danger in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father God, we ask You to dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around this precious one, to guard and protect them from all harm and evil. Surround them with Your hedge of protection, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield about them. Deliver them from this perilous situation, O God, and lead them to a place of safety and peace. We declare that You are their deliverer, and You will rescue them from the hand of the wicked (Psalm 7:1-2). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your hand guide them to a place of refuge (Psalm 139:10).
We pray for divine intervention, Lord, that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Provide for every need, both seen and unseen, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would break every chain of bondage, every cycle of oppression, and every plan of the enemy against their life. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and Your righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this dear one. Give them the strength to make godly decisions and the courage to walk in Your ways. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We ask that You would fill them with hope and assurance that You are working all things together for their good, for they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke every spirit of despair and hopelessness, for You have not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9). We declare that this trial will not overcome them, but that they will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11). Let Your joy be their strength, and let Your love be their anchor in this storm (Nehemiah 8:10).
Lord, we ask that You would also minister to their heart and soul. If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of their life not surrendered to You, we pray that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Let them draw near to You, and You will draw near to them (James 4:8). We pray that they would find their identity and worth in You alone, for You have created them fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14).
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your infinite wisdom. We declare that this situation will turn around for good, and that Your glory will be revealed in this precious one’s life. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
