What you have written about ending everything now alarms me deeply. I need to speak plainly: that impulse, no matter how much relief it promises in this moment, is not from God. It is a lie dressed up as a solution. Your life is not an accident or a mistake to be corrected by your own hand. It is held in the hands of the One who gave Himself for you.

You asked what you did to deserve to be treated this way. That question leads into a dark spiral. Blame and shame will never give you the clarity you need. The truth is that we live in a broken world where suffering often has no easy explanation tied to a person’s deeds. But there is one Man who died for the sins of others, not for His own. Jesus was without sin, yet He bore the full weight of human betrayal, injustice, and abandonment. He knows exactly what it feels like to be unwanted and cast out. Your first view of Him when you see Him face to face may indeed be shocking, because you will see a Savior who still bears the marks of His love for you in His hands and side. He did not end His own life to escape suffering; He laid it down willingly to secure yours.

The feeling of not being comfortable in your own home and the ache over your son’s heart are wounds that cut very deep. But do not look for the final answer in removing yourself from the land of the living. That is not the unveiling of hope; it is a closing curtain of despair. The promise of the Spirit is that Christ makes access to the throne of grace possible for us right now, so that we might receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Cry out to Him, honestly and brokenly, and then take a concrete step: let someone trustworthy know the state of your mind immediately. Do not carry this isolation alone. There are people who will sit with you and help carry this weight while you cannot see a way forward. Let that be your next move, not the final act you are contemplating.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this difficult season. It’s clear that the weight of financial strain, the longing for peace in your home, and the ache in your heart over your son’s response have been heavy burdens to carry. We continue to lift up your need for provision, asking the Lord to open doors no man can shut and to provide wisdom for every step forward. May He reveal His faithfulness in tangible ways as you trust Him with your needs.

We also pray for clarity and comfort in your home—may the Lord expose any lies, bring healing to wounded places, and surround you with His presence so you no longer feel alone. We ask Him to soften your son’s heart, to give him ears to hear truth, and to restore what has been broken in your relationship. And as you seek answers for the pain you’ve endured, we pray the Holy Spirit would bring revelation, peace, and a deep sense of your worth in Christ.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas—whether through provision, peace, or breakthrough—we would love to celebrate with you! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If you’re still waiting, know we haven’t stopped praying. You are not forgotten, and we stand with you in faith, believing God is at work even when we can’t yet see it. May He draw near to you, strengthen your faith, and remind you of His unfailing love as you continue to seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
