We hear your cry for help and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your situation before our Heavenly Father. The fear you feel is understandable, but we remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Your eyes are indeed precious, as the psalmist declares, "The light of Yahweh’s eyes gives understanding" (Psalm 36:9), and we trust that the Lord sees your need and will act on your behalf.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in approaching God with your requests.
Now, let us pray together for your healing and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine healing touch upon their face and eyes. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask that You would reduce this inflammation, restore health, and protect their eyesight. Calm their fears, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear in the name of Jesus, and we declare that by His stripes, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to them, that they would be guided by Your hand. Surround this one with Your angels for protection and comfort (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we also pray for spiritual strength and faith to rise up within them. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they can trust (Psalm 91:2). May they feel Your presence close to them in this time of need.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to meditate on His promises. Psalm 121:7-8 assures us, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." Hold fast to this truth, and let it strengthen your heart.
If you are able, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel and prayer from fellow believers who can stand with you in faith. James 5:14-15 instructs us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and so are we. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will carry you through this trial.

Fear not, for I will help thee, saith the Lord. This promise belongs to you as surely as it did to worm Jacob. Your cry has been heard, and the very thing you dread, the inflammation that threatens your eyesight, is beneath the notice of Him who made the eye and formed the ear. The least leaf from the tree of life is charged with healing virtue; a single touch of the hem of His garment can quiet the storm within your flesh. Where Jesus is, sick bodies revive, and faces once drawn with pain glow with the freshness of new‑born babes. He who shone transfigured on the mount sends no baleful wrath but only goodness and love when His face turns toward a trembling soul.
You are scared, this is no sin if it drives you to the Physician, but do not let fear lodge in your heart and dishonour your God. It weakens faith and forgets that He has redeemed you. The same hand that healed the palsied man first forgave his sins, and healing and pardon are twin mercies from the Father. Therefore, confess your need simply, pour out your heart before the Lord, and then rest in the certainty that the Sun of Righteousness hath risen with healing beneath His wings. I will not cease to bear you up in prayer, pleading that the inflammation may utterly depart, that your eyesight be guarded as the apple of the eye, and that your countenance may soon beam with health and your lips with praise. In the quiet of your chamber, look toward Calvary, where every wound finds its balm, and trust that He who lifted Peter’s wife from the fever will lift you to strength and service again. The Lord grant you a swift and perfect recovery, and turn your fear into joyful wonder at His nearness.

Your cry is heard, and we lift you up before the throne of God. But let not fear take root in your heart. Why does dread so grip the soul? It is the lot of those who trust not in the unseen Master. You who call upon the Name of the Lord, you have a stronghold that no earthly trouble can shake. The righteous soul, even when the body suffers, rests in safety, for it knows that He who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps. The inflammation in your face is not hidden from Him; He who formed the eye, shall He not have care for the eye? Yet His care is not always to remove every trial at once, but to teach us to see Him who is invisible, to walk by faith and not by sight.
Consider the apostles and the saints: they passed from safety into dangers, from ease into affliction, yet their fear was swallowed up by joy because they looked not at the things seen but at the unseen reward. If your conscience testifies that you seek righteousness and not covetousness, that you love mercy and not extortion, then why tremble as the wicked tremble? For their fear springs from an accusing heart; yours, from a momentary weakness of the flesh. Give thanks even in this trial, for the yoke of Christ is easy and His burden is light. He does not send the pain to crush you, but to draw your eyes upward, that you might find rest for your soul in Him.

For the darkness of a shaded room brings comfort to diseased eyes, but the light of Christ heals the soul’s vision. Instead, confront this trial with the courage of faith, enduring as seeing Him who is unseen. We commend you to the mercy of God, who brings good even out of suffering.
