We hear your cry for deliverance from what feels like a heavy burden of misfortune, and we stand with you in faith, lifting this concern before the throne of God. The Bible assures us that Christ has already overcome the powers of darkness, and in His name, we have authority to resist and rebuke anything that seeks to harm or oppress. "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We do not believe in luck, for our lives are governed by the sovereign will of God, who works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Whatever you are facing, we declare that it is not from Him, for "God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one" (James 1:13 WEB).
If there has been any involvement in superstition, occult practices, or anything that does not align with God’s Word, we must renounce it in Jesus’ name. The Lord warns us, "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). True freedom comes only through repentance and faith in Christ. Have you surrendered your life to Jesus, the only One who can break every chain? If not, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We lift up this dear one who is feeling weighed down by what seems like endless misfortune. Lord, Your Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of oppression, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy against this life. We break every chain in Jesus’ name! We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas where there may have been compromise, whether knowingly or unknowingly. If there has been any involvement in practices that do not honor You, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Wash this one clean by the blood of Jesus, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their family, and their future. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every evil influence to flee in Jesus’ name.
We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your blessings, favor, and protection. Surround this one with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that this is a season of breakthrough, restoration, and divine intervention. May they experience Your goodness and faithfulness in every area of their life.
Above all, Lord, we pray that this one would come to know You intimately if they do not already. Draw them close to Your heart, and let them walk in the fullness of Your love and purpose. Thank You, Father, for Your deliverance and for setting the captives free. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is for you and not against you. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you, and immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). If you have not already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your relationship with Christ. You are not alone, and with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
