Beloved of All
Whatever is on me causing me bad luck, please send it away, get it off and away from me permanently.Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for deliverance. First and foremost, let us affirm that there is no power in heaven or on earth greater than our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible declares in Colossians 2:15 that Jesus "disarmed the rulers and authorities, and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it." Any force of darkness or oppression must bow to the name of Jesus, for He has already secured the victory on the cross.

Beloved, we must examine our hearts and lives to ensure there is no open door through which the enemy might gain a foothold. Ephesians 4:27 warns us, "Don’t give place to the devil." Have you engaged in any practices, such as consulting horoscopes, tarot cards, or mediums, that invite spiritual darkness? Deuteronomy 18:10-12 makes it clear that such things are an abomination to the Lord. If so, we must repent and renounce these things in the name of Jesus, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We also rebuke the spirit of fear and superstition that may be at work here. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Bad luck is not a biblical concept, God is sovereign over all things, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If you are feeling oppressed, it may be the enemy trying to steal your peace and blind you to God’s promises. Stand firm in the truth that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We declare that [Name] is covered by the blood of Jesus and belongs to You. Lord, we break every chain of oppression, bad luck, or spiritual attack that may be attempting to cling to [Name]. We command every spirit of darkness to flee in Jesus’ name! We renounce any involvement with occult practices, fear, or superstition, and we ask You to cleanse and purify [Name]’s heart and mind.

Father, we ask You to fill [Name] with Your Holy Spirit, flooding their life with Your peace, joy, and divine protection. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your light dispel every shadow of doubt or despair. We declare that no weapon formed against [Name] shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that Your plans for them are for good and not for evil (Jeremiah 29:11).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. Help [Name] to walk in the confidence of Your love and to trust in Your perfect will. May they find their strength and hope in You alone. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer and worship, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in faith and encouragement. Remember, "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You are not alone, God is with you, and we stand with you in this battle. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We hear the weight in your cry, and we want you to know we’re standing with you in this. It’s completely understandable to feel worn down when it seems like nothing goes right, and your desire to be free from whatever is shadowing you is real and important.

We’ve learned that praying together with mature, faith-filled believers can make a profound difference when life feels spiritually heavy. Jesus has absolute authority over every dark thing, and He invites us to bring our needs to Him in community. So, as a first step, we’d encourage you to reach out to a pastor, prayer team, or a trusted Christian friend, someone who can pray with you in person or over the phone. There’s something uniquely strengthening when we agree together in His name and others join their faith with ours.

Even while you wait for that, you can speak simple, firm truth aloud in your own space: “Jesus is Lord over me. I belong to Him, and no evil can claim me.” That isn’t a magic formula, it’s anchoring yourself in the reality of who He is and whose you are. You are not alone in this struggle, and we are praying right now.

Lord Jesus, we bring before You this one who feels hunted by misfortune and longs to be clean and free. You see their heart; You know every hidden pressure. We ask You to surround them with Your shielding peace. Silence any lying whisper that says they are cursed or forgotten. By Your authority, command anything dark to flee from them and never return. Fill the empty spaces with Your light, Your hope, and a settled sense of safety in Your love. Renew their strength and guide them to the right people who will stand with them in prayer and love. In Your mighty name, Amen.

The notion of a haunting ill-fortune that clings to you like a shadow must give way before the bright reality of the cross. There is no spell, no random malice of fate, no cursed thing that can defy the finished work of Christ. The curse of the Law, which is the only true and terrible curse, has been removed in a moment and entirely for all who are in Him. You speak as one who feels a weight, but the only weight that could crush you forever was laid upon the Substitute, He was made a curse for us, though He knew no sin. If you have trusted Him, then whatever you name bad luck is but a phantom, for the reality of the curse is gone.

Cleansing from all sin and guilt is His gift, applied by the Spirit through faith alone. You cannot wash yourself by observances or by fretting over shadows. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses from all sin, and with that cleansing comes deliverance from the power of dark fears. Look steadily to Calvary. There the righteous vengeance due to sin was poured out upon Him, so that no punitive curse remains for those who are His. The clock of mercy struck your deliverance when you first rested in the ransom He found. Do not now live as though Egypt still held you captive, when the Lamb has been slain and you have been brought forth with silver and gold of grace.

Let your prayer be not against some vague misfortune, but full of childlike trust in the God who has declared concerning every soul going down to the pit, “I have found a ransom.” Your deliverance is certain because it is His doing. Reckon yourself dead to these superstitious terrors, and alive unto God, for if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of bad luck as if it were some dark cloud sent upon you by an enemy, but I ask you, where in the Holy Scriptures is such a thing promised to the faithful? The Apostle says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us” (Gal. 3:13). If you are in Christ, you are no longer under any curse. Yet many think they are plagued by misfortune when in truth they are snared by their own sins. The devil, that ancient foe, lays traps not through unseen forces of luck, but through the unruly passions of the soul. As a sparrow caught by the foot is under the power of the fowler, so a man who clings to any wickedness, even one, is in the devil’s grasp. And what is the root of such deception? Arrogance, that fever of the soul, which springs from never examining our own nature. Man was made to be an angel, a child of God, but by sin he becomes a beast. Instead of crying out against some vague bad luck, cry out against the pride and the love of passing pleasures that have entangled you. For luxury gives a brief pleasure to the palate, but leaves behind distension, headache, a sleep like death, and a bitter curse upon your own belly. So it is with every sin: it promises freedom but delivers chains.

You ask that whatever is upon you be sent away permanently. Then hear this: the only curse that can truly hold a soul is the curse of the Law, which says, “Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things written in the book.” All of us fell under that curse through disobedience. But Christ, the Innocent One, took upon Himself the curse of hanging on a tree to set us free. If you have been washed in baptism and have put on Christ, you are an heir of the promise, not a target of luckless spells. But if you still live as though grace meant nothing while returning to the filth of sin, then you place yourself back under the devil’s tyranny. You wonder why misfortune dogs you? Examine your life. Perhaps you, like Job’s wife, have listened to evil counsel that drives you to impatience and blasphemy. Or perhaps your hands are empty of mercy, and like the foolish virgins you have no oil for your lamp. The Lord will not know those who work iniquity, even if they cry out His name. Do not seek some mystical cleansing of bad luck. Seek rather the cleansing of repentance. Cast off the weight of your sins through almsgiving, prayer, and a humble heart. Then the demons will flee, not because you uttered a command, but because you have submitted to the rule of Christ and the shepherds He set over you. Anarchy brings calamity, but obedience to God brings peace that no dark fortune can touch.

Your heart is crying out for something real, to be free from what feels like a shadow hanging over everything. That ache to have a curse broken, a weight lifted, bad luck chased away permanently, is not strange to God. Scripture itself closes the Old Testament with the word “curse,” and then there are four hundred years of silence. The next word God speaks is through an angel to a man named Zacharias, whose wife Elizabeth had lived under what the whole culture called a curse. She was barren. Everyone accepted that as reason for disgrace, even divorce, with no one questioning it. Yet the angel’s message was not about a curse but about a coming fulfillment. God’s deliverance was arriving from a quarter no one expected, and the very thing labeled a curse became the setting for the birth of John the Baptist.

That is why simply trying to have something sent away from you can miss the deeper answer. Many people urgently want a prayer of deliverance, to have the darkness removed. But darkness does not leave by being addressed alone; it leaves when light enters. The two cannot share the same room. Far better to pray for the entrance of Jesus Christ’s power and presence than to fixate only on getting rid of a thing. If something is driven out but the life remains empty, you can end up in a worse state than before. The real need is the Deliverer Himself, not just deliverance.

What you call bad luck may feel like a pattern or an oppressive weight, but definitions of blessing and curse shaped by culture or fear can mislead us. The same society that shrugged at Zacharias dismissing his barren wife would later sneer at Nazareth as a place of bad reputation, yet that is where the angel Gabriel went, to a virgin named Mary. The hope of every young Jewish woman had been to bear the Messiah, and those deemed out of the running were the ones God chose. So be careful about what voice you let define your life as cursed. Christ came to preach deliverance to the captives and to set at liberty those who are bruised. He did not come merely to chase symptoms; He came to fill you with His Spirit.

Turn your cry from “send this off of me” to “Lord Jesus, enter every part of my life.” Ask Him to fill what has felt hollow or harassed. When His presence occupies the space, whatever does not belong to Him must go. The powers of darkness cannot survive His light. Do not let fear build a theology around luck, old patterns, or past foolish decisions that may have brought suffering. The same Lord who closed the scroll and declared the acceptable year of the Lord stands ready to recover sight to your blindness and release to your oppression. What looks like a curse can be overturned by the purpose of God when you yield fully to Him. Let your permanent request be for more of Jesus, and trust that in His entrance, the shadows are already being scattered.
