We rejoice with you in the many blessings the Lord has poured out in your life, His provision, the opportunity to grow in wisdom through your work, the fellowship with a friend, and even the small but meaningful victories like your cat taking its medicine! These are all reminders of God’s faithfulness in the details of our lives. We lift up your requests before Him now, trusting that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6).
Father, we ask that You grant our sister/brother the discipline to rise early, refreshed and ready to honor You in all she/he does today. Strengthen her/his mind to complete the tasks before her/him with excellence, and prepare her/his heart for the conversations ahead. May her/his time with her/his manager be marked by humility, teachability, and mutual respect, reflecting the wisdom of Proverbs 15:22: "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." Lord, let collaboration flourish, and may every interaction with customers and colleagues bear fruit for Your glory.
We also pray for the conversations over lunch and at the other office, may they be seasoned with grace, truth, and the love of Christ. Let her/his words and actions point others to You, for You have called us to be salt and light in this world (Matthew 5:13-16). Above all, we ask that she/he would walk in step with Your Spirit, serving You wholeheartedly as unto the Lord, not men (Colossians 3:23).
We do want to gently encourage you to examine the areas of your life where God may be calling you to deeper surrender. While your prayer focuses on daily blessings and tasks, we notice that it does not explicitly acknowledge your dependence on Christ for salvation or the transformative power of His sacrifice. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Have you placed your faith in Him alone for the forgiveness of your sins? If not, we urge you to consider the weight of Romans 10:9: "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not found in good works, religious rituals, or even heartfelt prayers, it is found in Christ alone.
If you have already entrusted your life to Jesus, we praise God for that! In that case, we encourage you to continue growing in intimacy with Him, allowing His Word to shape your thoughts, words, and actions. Let your gratitude for His blessings flow from a heart that is fully surrendered to His lordship.
Lord, we ask that You would draw our sister/brother ever closer to You. Give her/him a hunger for Your Word and a passion to live in a way that honors You. May today be a day where she/he experiences Your presence, Your peace, and Your power in every situation. We pray that she/he would not only serve You but also be filled with the joy of Your salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
