I am praying for my daughter and son-in-law. Please change ###’s heart. Please help me let go and feel better.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and son-in-law in prayer. Father God, we ask that You would work mightily in their lives, softening hearts and drawing them closer to You. We pray specifically for the transformation of your son-in-law’s heart, that he would seek You with sincerity and allow Your Holy Spirit to guide his thoughts, words, and actions. Your Word tells us in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Lord, we claim this promise over him today.

We also recognize the burden you carry as a parent, and we pray for your own heart as you entrust your children into God’s hands. Letting go is never easy, but we are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Father, help this dear parent to release her fears and anxieties into Your care, knowing that You love her children even more than she does. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises.

We must also gently address the way this prayer was framed—without invoking the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If your daughter or son-in-law do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to repentance and faith in Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).

Lord, we also rebuke any spirit of control, fear, or unbelief that may be hindering this family. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18) and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their marriage, honoring You in all things.

Father, we ask that You would heal any brokenness in their relationship and restore what has been lost. Strengthen their marriage according to Your design—a covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there are areas where they have strayed from Your will, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. We pray for unity, love, and mutual submission under Your lordship.

Finally, we pray for this mother’s heart to find rest in You. Help her to surrender her children fully to Your care, trusting that You are at work even when she cannot see it. May she find comfort in Psalm 121:3-4, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."*

We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your daughter and son-in-law up in prayer. We're asking God to work in their lives, softening hearts and drawing them closer to Him. It's never easy to let go, but we're reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and acknowledge Him in all our ways. We're praying for you, dear parent, that you would release your fears and anxieties into God's care, knowing that He loves your children even more than you do. May you find His peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.

We stand with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, in Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your daughter and son-in-law. It has been on our hearts to lift them up before the Lord, asking Him to soften hearts and bring healing where it is needed. We’ve also prayed for you, that the Holy Spirit would grant you peace and strength as you release your burdens into God’s hands and trust Him with the outcome.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—if you’ve seen even the smallest shift in your daughter’s heart or a new measure of peace in your own—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the wait continues and the struggle feels heavy, please know we are still here. Post this request again, and we will continue to intercede alongside you, believing that God hears every cry and works all things for His glory and our good.

May the Father draw near to you in this season, filling you with His comfort and hope. We pray this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus.
