Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I am confused right now, one agent who contacted the barangay head is asking me if we can meet the barangay captain and discuss the demands of the illegal settler. I had a glimpse of the demands and they are the same demands as before to which I already disagreed several times. They are asking for portions of the lot but their lot is the one behind ours, so I am wondering why they need ours. When their lot is 12,000+ sqm. Also, I am thinking about my safety and the time that will be used in going there since it will take some time to discuss with the head. And they are also siding with the defendants. Lord, please help me decide. Thank You. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, seeking His wisdom and guidance in this situation that weighs heavily on you. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You would make Your will clear in this matter. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we lift up this confusion and ask that You would direct every step and decision according to Your perfect will.

We also recognize the concern for safety and the preciousness of time that You have given. In Psalm 91:11, You promise, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over you, asking for divine protection as You navigate this situation. Help you to discern whether this meeting is truly necessary or if it is a distraction from the path You have set before you.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of intimidation or fear that may be attempting to take hold in this situation. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that You would fill you with Your power, love, and a sound mind to make decisions that honor You.

We also lift up the issue of the demands being made. It is clear that these requests are unjust and not in alignment with Your will for fairness and integrity. Proverbs 22:28 warns, "Don’t move the ancient boundary stone which your fathers have set up." Lord, we pray that You would expose any deceit or manipulation in this situation and that truth would prevail. Give you the courage to stand firm on what is right, even if it means facing opposition.

We encourage you to seek counsel from wise and godly individuals who can provide biblical perspective and support. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround yourself with people who will speak truth into this situation and help you discern the best course of action.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that seek Your wisdom and justice. Lord, we ask that You would guide and direct in this situation, making Your path clear. We pray for Your protection over them, both physically and spiritually, as they navigate these challenges. Give them discernment to recognize Your will and the courage to stand firm in it. We rebuke any spirit of fear or intimidation and declare that Your power, love, and self-control will reign in this situation. Father, we ask that You would expose any deceit and bring truth to light. Surround them with godly counsel and wisdom. We trust in Your promises and ask that You would work all things together for good, according to Your perfect plan. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
