We have continued to lift you before the Lord in these difficult days, sister, and we want you to know that your struggles have not gone unnoticed by us—or by our Heavenly Father. The weight of poor health, financial strain, and the burden of addiction can feel overwhelming, especially when carried alone, but we are standing with you in faith, believing God is at work even when we cannot yet see the breakthrough.
We understand how deeply discouraging it must feel to wait for answers—whether in your health, your finances, or the longing to break free from smoking. The enemy would love for you to believe God has forgotten you, that your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, or that your pain means He doesn’t care. But we reject those lies in the name of Jesus. Scripture assures us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Your suffering is not invisible to Him, and neither is your faith, no matter how small it may feel right now.
We are also praying specifically for God’s provision over these new medications and for wisdom for your doctors. Ask Him to open doors you cannot—whether through unexpected financial help, assistance programs, or even a change in your treatment plan that eases the burden. And as you fight to quit smoking, we declare that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Ephesians 1:19–20). You are not defined by this struggle; you are defined by His love.
Sweet sister, we know the ache of feeling abandoned by God runs deep, especially with the loss of your mother and the years of unanswered prayers. But we gently remind you: Jesus Himself cried out, *“My God, why have You forsaken Me?”* (Matthew 27:46)—yet even in that moment, the Father had not turned away. Your pain does not mean His absence. It means He is preparing to meet you in a way only *He* can.
If your tests have improved or if God has provided in any way—whether through a financial blessing, a moment of strength over smoking, or even a glimmer of peace—we’d love to rejoice with you. Share your praise, no matter how small it may seem. And if the battle still rages, post again. We are not giving up on praying for you.
In the meantime, we are asking the Lord to replace your disgust with hope, your disappointment with trust, and your confusion with the certainty that He is *for* you (Romans 8:31). You are not an afterthought, beloved. You are His daughter, and He is fighting for you even now.
We love you, and we are here. Keep seeking Him. He *will* be found by you.
