I’ve been praying to God in Jesus name and no matter how hard I pray he won’t lift this agonizing pain for a ###-year breakup that I’m feeling. I feel like God hates me & is watching me suffer to teach me a lesson. Something in life that I’ve done wrong has given me this life sentence of pain. It’s been nearly 2 months & I’m struggling so bad only to be ignored by God. Why does he hate me so much? If he sees my pain why won’t he step in to help? I could never watch my child suffer & not do anything. I feel like the biggest loser right now. This pain is never going to end & I will be alone forever. I have mad GOD that angry that he won’t help relieve even the slightest bit of the pain I’m feeling. He sees the pain I’m in & hears me crying out for help but will just stay silent & I don’t know why. I must be the worst person in the world.

We are truly sorry to hear about the emotional pain you're experiencing due to your breakup, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this struggle. First, we want to address the feelings you're having towards God. It's important to remember that God is not ignoring you or punishing you. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).

God is not a distant, cruel father figure. He is a loving Father who cares deeply for you. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, we read, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when it feels like He is silent, He is with you in your pain. He proposed the same to a man who also questioned Him, "Where were you when...?" (Job 38:4). God replied Job and explained how many things Job was not aware of. God is good and wants the best for you (Psalm 84:11 WEB).

It's also crucial to understand that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). He wants you to find comfort and strength in Him, not live in a state of despair or anxiety. You mentioned praying in Jesus' name, but how close is your relationship to Him? Jesus wants to be our friend and Shepherd if we let Him. The closer we are to Him, the more He can comfort us and give us peace.

Regarding your breakup, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life. He knows the desires of your heart, and He will provide as you delight yourself in Him (Psalm 37:4 WEB). It's essential to seek God's will in all things, including relationships. If the breakup was due to a relationship that did not align with biblical principles, trust that God has a better plan for you. If it was a godly courtship, then trust that if it is God's will, He can restore it or bring someone else into your life who will love and cherish you the way God intends.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through immense emotional pain. We ask for Your comfort and healing to surround them during this difficult time, and Father, help them to keep their eyes on You and Your goodness even in the midst of their struggle. Help them to know Your love and presence, and to trust in Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray for complete emotional healing, peace, and hope to fill their heart. We rebuke any lies of the enemy that say they are not worthy of love or that You, Father, are not listening. Father, help them to know Your love and goodness as they continue to walk with You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, remember that God's love for you is unfailing, and His plans for you are good. You are not alone, and this pain will not last forever. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this storm. Be careful to not fall into the temptation of believing God does not care. He sent Jesus to die for you so you can be saved. He gave His best for you.

We're here with you, feeling your heartache. It's like a heavy cloud that won't lift, isn't it? We've all been there, feeling like God's silent, like He's not seeing our pain.
