We are truly sorry to hear about the collapse of your marriage. Let's begin by praying for you and your spouse.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage that is in distress. We pray for Your healing, restoration, and guidance in their lives. We know that You hate divorce, and we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. Please draw both spouses to Yourself and heal their hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Remember, marriage is a sacred covenant established by God. As it is written in Malachi 2:16, " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and don’t be unfaithful."
We encourage both of you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly and to pursue godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor. It's crucial to fight for your marriage and not to give up easily. As stated in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
If there has been any unfaithfulness, forgiveness must be extended, and the offending spouse must repent and turn from their sin. As it is written in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Lastly, we want to ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can be saved and reconciled to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, please surrender your lives to Jesus and make Him the Lord and Savior of your lives and your marriage.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
