Let us first address the immediate concern: We are instructed by God's word not to seek vengeance or repay evil with evil. Romans 12:17-21 (WEB) says, "Return no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
It is clear in scripture that we are not to seek revenge, but rather, we are to trust God to deal with those who have wronged us. Instead of praying for God to deal with them, we should pray for their repentance and for God to change their hearts.
Regarding the situation where individuals have lied and suggested that God wants you to be homeless and give away your possessions, this does not align with biblical principles. God does not desire for His children to be homeless or to give away their belongings in a way that causes harm or distress. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), it states, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
We should pray for wisdom and discernment in handling such situations, trusting that God will provide for our needs and protect us from those who seek to harm us.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who is facing deceit and false teachings. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment to see through the lies and understand Your true will for their life. We pray for those who have wronged them, that You would soften their hearts and bring them to repentance. Help this individual to trust in Your provision and protection, and to overcome evil with good. Guide them in the path of righteousness and surround them with godly counsel. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
