We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you're facing in your marriage, but we must first address something of great importance. While we understand your pain and desire for change, God's Word is clear about marriage and divorce. The WEB says, For the Lord, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce; for one covers violence with his garment, says the Lord of Hosts. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful Malachi 2:16.
Divorce should not be pursued lightly, as it is a grave matter in God's sight. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and consider reconciliation if at all possible. Jesus himself said, What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9 WEB.
However, we also recognize that there are situations where separation may be necessary for safety, such as in cases of abuse or unfaithfulness. If this is the case, we urge you to seek support from local Christian resources and authorities.
Regarding your financial and living situation, we pray that the Lord will guide you and provide for you in every way. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Concerning your children, we join you in prayer for their safety and well-being. We pray that God will surround them with His hedge of protection and that they will find comfort and guidance in Him.
As for moving on with your life, we encourage you to keep your focus on the Lord and His purposes for you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8 WEB. We pray for a renewed sense of hope and purpose, and we ask God to break any cycles of negativity or despair in your life.
However, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear sister in need of Your guidance and provision. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her marriage, for You to bring healing and reconciliation if that is Your desire. We also pray for her safety and the safety of her children.
Father, we ask that You provide for her financially and guide her to the right living situation. Help her to trust in You and to draw near to You during this difficult time. Break the cycles of negativity and despair, Lord, and fill her with hope and purpose.
We also pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, that she would experience the new life and everlasting life that is only available by Jesus Christ, her Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
