Your request shows a humble heart seeking guidance, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that it is in Jesus' name that we come to the Father. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him is this man standing here before you whole. This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:10-12
We commend you for your desire to make the right decisions and to seek God's guidance. Remember that God promises to guide us when we acknowledge Him and trust in Him with all our heart. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Regarding your husband, we encourage you to pray for him and be a godly example, but remember that we cannot force anyone to do the right thing. Instead, we should pray for them and trust God to work in their hearts. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. Ephesians 5:22-23.
As for moving back home, seek God's will and consider the reasons behind this decision. God will guide you as you pray and seek His face.
We are glad to hear that you are looking for a good church home. We pray that God will guide you to a fellowship where you can grow spiritually and be part of a supportive community. Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching, Hebrews 10:25.
Regarding your desire to stop hurting people and to be more careful with your words, we encourage you to meditate on the following scriptures: Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29. If anyone thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless, James 1:26.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who seeks Your guidance and wisdom. Help her to make decisions that honor You and align with Your will. Work in her husband's heart, and guide them both in Your truth. Lead her to a loving church family where she can grow and fellowship with other believers. Provide her with godly roommates and friends who will support and encourage her. Help her to control her tongue and speak words that bring life and blessing to others. Give her a fresh start and a renewed hope for the future.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
