it is a good thing that you are seeking God on your own with questions...life is just that it does come to an end for us all...and it seems like your grandfather lived a good godly life and taught you the Truth and the way...he does want you with him and knows the cost if you don't seek God and live in obedience to Him...you were very blessed to have him..and he is with you in your heart...continue to seek God and His truths for yourself find peace in your heart and you will always find God right there...I lost my mom in November and I do know your pain..but we are sad for our own selfishness....they are with God in no more pain..they made it..now it is our turn...when my mom died...i realized I want to be just like her...and she would never leave God for anything..she was loving and kind and everyone loved her...she was my mentor and MY mom...I do not want to disappoint her never mind disappoint God...your in a good place sweetie..seeking HIM for yourself...good place to be...I pray you find all the desires of your heart through Christ...God bless
