Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and these many needs. We join you in bringing them before the Lord who hears and cares for every detail of your life.
We pray with you for Tuesday, October 13, that God would give you wisdom as you plan your appointments and favor in your time with your manager. We ask Him to guide your work in recruiting, to sharpen your skills, to open doors for success, and to make clear His will for the training week in Miami from November 2 to November 5. We also pray for His provision and guidance for the hotel on Monday night, that you would have safety and rest as you travel.
For your health and the health of those you love, we ask the Lord for His mercy. We pray for relief and healing from pain after injections, and for strength to walk and to serve Him with energy. Scripture teaches us to make provision for the body not to indulge its desires but to keep it in health for service, and we pray that you and your friend would be given grace for self discipline, balanced habits, and a healthy body that enables you to serve God well. May your desire for health be for His glory and for usefulness in His work.
We bring your cat before the Lord as well, asking for continued health and for His care over all His creation. We pray He will provide a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter to care for your cat and tend to his needs while you are away, giving you peace of mind.
We thank God with you for the refunds you have received and for the tax money you anticipate, and we pray for wisdom to steward all He provides with faithfulness and contentment. We pray for your finances, for daily provision, and for His help as you walk in diligence and integrity in your work.
We also lift up the matter of the sixty thousand dollars owed to you. We pray that the one who owes this debt would repent where wrong has been done and would act justly and honestly to repay what is owed. We ask God to work in that heart for righteousness and to give you patience, peace, and trust in Him as the righteous judge who sees all things.
Above all we pray that in each of these areas you would be able to serve the Lord with a clear conscience and a joyful heart, trusting Christ who alone is our Savior and who heals and restores. May He guide your steps, grant you wisdom in every decision, and let you see His hand in your work, your friendships, your time with your friend over lunch or dinner, and even in a simple walk together.
We commit all these things to our gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
