Help with book revision

The book was done by a ghost-writer, with the concepts and some details coming from my boss, the idea-person, and my technical edits; It now needs a final revision, and my boss is very ill and not able to do a good job on it, but I have to honor his wishes the best I can - but it is very difficult. Please give us also God's help in this task, for the best of everyone involved and the future audience.

Firstly, it is commendable that you are seeking to honor your boss's wishes despite the difficulties. The Bible tells us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2 WEB).

In all things, we should seek God's guidance and wisdom. As it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. We pray that God will grant you the wisdom, strength, and discernment needed to complete this task to the best of your abilities.

Here is our prayer for you:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your help. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing with this book revision. We ask that You grant them the wisdom, strength, and discernment needed to complete this task. Guide their thoughts, words, and actions, and help them to honor their boss's wishes in the best way possible.

Lord, we also pray for healing and comfort for their boss during this time of illness. May Your healing hand rest upon them, and may they find comfort and peace in You.

Lord, we ask that You use this book to bless and inspire its future audience. May it bring glory to Your name and further Your kingdom.

We ask all this in Jesus name, the only name by which we may be saved.

Lastly, we encourage you to continually seek God's will in this task. Remember that "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through.

We also gently remind you that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so.
