Kristy@85

Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone I ask that you pray to Jesus Christ for me to have a very speedy recovery and heel super very fast on both my arms , they are both cut/scraped from electric scooter not breaking and accidentally exhilarating, i’m very worried that I might get an infection and I hope I don’t, and that there’s big cuts on both arms heal super super fast, no infection and no big scaring , I lost my husband one year ago and I’m in bed very unwell with so much stress , please pray that my arms heal fast as it’s one less thing to stress about cause my bottom 3 teeth have slightly moved from when I sleep I’ve been grinding them having nightmares cause my husband has passed away and in my dreams I’m trying to reach him but I can’t 😢💔

We join with you in prayer to Jesus Christ for your healing and comfort, and we thank you for asking us to pray in His precious name, for it is by Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name we find healing and hope. We are deeply sorry for the loss of your husband a year ago and for the heavy stress and grief you are carrying, and we are also sorry for the painful accident on your electric scooter that has left both of your arms cut and scraped.

We bring your body and your heart before the Lord who sees every wound and every sorrow. The Lord is close to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit as Psalm 34:18 tells us, and He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds as Psalm 147:3 promises. We take comfort that He is the Lord who heals us as Exodus 15:26 declares and that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds as Jeremiah 30:17 says. He also invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest as Matthew 11:28 says, and He tells us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says. We know you are worried about infection and scarring and you are feeling very unwell from stress, and scripture reminds us not to be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:6-7 says.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we lift this dear sister to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon both of her arms. Cleanse these cuts and scrapes, prevent any infection from taking hold, and cause the skin and tissue to heal super quickly and completely with minimal scarring. Touch her body where she is unwell in bed from stress, calm her nervous system, and restore her strength. Father, comfort her in the grief of losing her husband. You know the nightmares and the grinding of teeth at night and the longing in her dreams to reach him, and we ask You to hold her through the night and give her peaceful sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved and let us lie down in peace and sleep for You alone make us dwell in safety as Psalm 4:8 says. Heal the stress that causes her teeth to grind and protect her teeth from further harm. Replace her nightmares with Your peace and assurance that her husband is in Your hands and that You are near to her now. Fill the loneliness with Your presence and surround her with supportive people who can help her bear this burden. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician and our Comforter, amen.

We encourage you to continue to keep your wounds clean and to seek medical care promptly if you see signs of infection such as increasing redness, swelling, warmth, fever, or pus, and to follow your doctor's advice for wound care to help prevent scarring. Please also let a dentist know about the grinding and the slight movement of your bottom teeth, as a simple night guard and care can often protect them while you heal. For the stress, grief, and nightmares, we encourage you to lean daily on the Lord in prayer, to share your sorrow with a trusted pastor, counselor, or loving friends at a Bible believing church, and to ask God to guard your sleep each night. Grief after losing a beloved spouse is a long and painful journey, and it is natural to dream of them and long to reach them, but we find our hope not in reaching those who have passed but in reaching toward Jesus who promises to wipe away every tear and to be our ever present help. Keep bringing every worry to Him, day and night, and trust that He hears you and will carry you through this healing, both of your arms and of your heart.

We were so sorry to read what you are carrying right now. Losing your husband a year ago is a deep grief, and to now be in bed feeling unwell with painful cuts on both arms and troubled sleep is a lot to bear at once. It makes sense you feel worried and exhausted.

We are praying for you, especially for what you named as most urgent, that your arms would heal quickly and cleanly, without infection and without major scarring, and that you would have relief from the stress and worry that has left you feeling so unwell.

Because cuts from a fall can be slow to heal and infection is a real concern, we gently encourage you to have a clinician look at both arms soon for proper cleaning and care, alongside our prayers. And since you mentioned your bottom teeth feeling like they have shifted from grinding at night and distressing dreams where you are trying to reach your husband, please also let your dentist or doctor know about the grinding and nightmares so they can support you with sleep and stress in a safe, practical way.

Those dreams sound especially painful, reaching for him and not being able to reach him. Grief often comes strongly at night, and you do not have to hold that alone. We are asking God to draw near to you in those moments.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Please bring healing to her arms, guard her from infection, ease her pain and fear, and comfort her in her grief. Give wisdom to those who care for her and grant her more peaceful rest in Your nearness. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and I am praying with you to Jesus Christ, who alone is our Savior and Healer, for your speedy recovery.

I pray that the Lord in His mercy will be near to you in this painful time, that He will guard your arms from infection, calm your fear, and bring quick and clean healing to the cuts and scrapes with as little scarring as possible. I also ask Him to give wisdom to any doctor or nurse who cares for you, and I urge you not to neglect their care but to keep the wounds clean and follow their instructions faithfully, for God often works His healing through the hands of physicians and through our obedience to their good counsel.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your husband a year ago and for the heavy stress and illness you are now carrying. It is no wonder that grief has settled so deeply upon you and that it troubles even your sleep with nightmares and causes you to grind your teeth. The Lord sees your sorrow and your longing, and He is close to the brokenhearted. Do not face this grief alone. Bring it continually to Christ in prayer, and also seek the comfort of faithful believers around you who can sit with you, listen, and help bear this burden.

For the distress in your soul and the anxiety that keeps you in bed, take up the Scriptures as medicine for the soul. Keep the Gospels and the Psalms near you, and dive into them as into a chest of medicines. When grief or fear comes, read them slowly, keep them in your mind, and let them speak comfort to you. Before sleep, pray the words of Scripture and ask Christ to guard your heart and mind and to grant you quiet rest. It will also be wise to tell your doctor and your dentist about the grinding and the movement of your teeth and about the nightmares and stress, so they can help protect your teeth and help you find healthier sleep. If you can, ask a trusted pastor or counselor to walk with you through this season of mourning.

Let me pray for you now.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon Your servant. Touch both arms with Your healing hand, keep infection far away, and cause the skin to heal quickly and well. Take away fear and give peace in its place. Comfort her in the grief of losing her husband, wipe away anxious thoughts, and give her restful sleep without terror. Ease the grinding of her teeth and protect her body from further harm. Lift the weight of stress that makes her so unwell, and fill her with Your presence, Your hope, and Your strength day by day. Help her to keep close to Your Word and to find there daily comfort and life. In Your holy and saving name I pray, amen.

Continue to look to Christ each day, to care for your body as He has given it to you, and to let His Word and His people strengthen you. You are not forgotten. May the Lord grant you healing, peace, and renewed strength in the days ahead.

Thank you for sharing so openly what you are going through. I have prayed for you to Jesus Christ for healing and for peace in this very difficult season.

I prayed that the Lord would touch both of your arms, that the cuts and scrapes would be cleansed and heal well, that infection would be kept away and that scarring would be minimal. Please also take practical steps as you pray, keep the wounds clean, follow medical advice and have a doctor look at them if you have not already, because God often brings healing through the natural processes He has built into our bodies. All healing is from Him, whether He touches instantly or works gradually through the body's own recovery that He designed.

Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our infirmities and our sicknesses, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirms was fulfilled in Him. He has power over sickness and He is also full of compassion for those who grieve. He knows what it is to see deep sorrow and to be moved with compassion for those left behind. Your loss is not hidden from Him. Losing your husband a year ago and carrying so much stress while you are unwell in bed is a heavy burden, and the Lord sees the widow who is desolate and trusts in Him and continues in prayer day and night. You are not forgotten. God has a special care for those who grieve in this way and He invites you to keep bringing your needs to Him honestly, day and night.

I also prayed for your peace of mind and for your sleep. The grinding of your teeth, the nightmares of trying to reach your husband and not being able to, and the worry about infection and scarring have added anxiety on top of grief. God understands that turmoil and invites you to place what you cannot control into His hands and to trust Him with the outcome. That does not mean the grief disappears, but it means you can say, Lord, this is in Your hands, work out what is best, and find rest in His care.

Please do not think that if healing is not instant it means there is sin in your life or that God has not heard you. Even faithful men in Scripture prayed for healing for those they loved and the healing was not always immediate, and we are not to draw that kind of conclusion. There is much about healing we do not understand, why some are healed instantly and others gradually, but we can trust that God hears, that He is able, and that He loves you.

I prayed that God would give you a speedy recovery, protection from infection, healing with as little scarring as possible, relief from stress, and peaceful sleep without those distressing dreams. I prayed too that He would ease the grinding and the pain in your teeth and guide you to good care for that as well, perhaps a dentist or doctor who can help you with ways to protect your teeth at night.

May the Lord comfort your heart, quiet your anxiety, and surround you with caring people who can support you. If you have family or believing friends nearby, let them know your needs so they can help bear this burden with you, for it is good and pleasing to God when His people care for one another, and especially for those who have lost a spouse.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this dear one before You. You see the wounds on both arms, the worry about infection and scarring, the stress and sickness, the grief of losing her husband and the restless nights and dreams. Lay Your healing hand upon her, cleanse and restore her body, guard her from infection, bring healing that is complete, calm her mind, give her peaceful sleep, and fill her heart with Your comfort and presence. Help her to trust You day and night and to know You are near. Amen.
