We join with you in lifting this burden to the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the most precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name alone that we have access to the Father and find deliverance and peace.
We know how painful a quarrel can be and how the enemy seeks to use division, anger, and hurt to drive a wedge between people. God's heart is for reconciliation where it is possible and for His children to walk in humility, forgiveness, and love. We are reminded in Romans 12:18, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. And in Ephesians 4:32, And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. True reconciliation requires both hearts to be softened, to confess where we have sinned, and to extend the same grace that Christ has shown us as taught in Colossians 3:13, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. We also cling to the promise for peacemakers in Matthew 5:9, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
We also stand with you in praying for deliverance from all evil. The enemy prowls seeking whom he may devour, but our God is faithful to protect His own. We take comfort in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. And in James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. When we submit ourselves to God and walk in His light and truth, no scheme of the enemy can ultimately prevail against us, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ. We lift up these two hearts that have been wounded by this quarrel. Lord, we ask that You would soften any hardness, heal any hurt, and convict each one of any pride, harsh words, or sin that needs to be confessed. Grant repentance and humility to both, and help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven us. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Where there has been division, bring unity. Where there has been anger, bring Your gentle love. Help them to speak the truth in love and to be reconciled according to Your will.
Lord, we also ask for Your mighty deliverance from all evil. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, guard them from the schemes of the devil, from temptation, oppression, and every evil influence. Establish them in Your truth, clothe them in Your armor, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from the evil one, and let Your Holy Spirit fill them with discernment, strength, and holiness.
We ask that You would draw them both closer to Jesus through this trial, that their relationship would be strengthened and purified and would bring glory to You. Let Your will be done in their lives and let reconciliation bring testimony to Your redeeming power. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name and we trust You to work all things for good for those who love You. In Jesus Christ's most precious name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord together in prayer and in His Word, to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger as James 1:19 teaches, and to keep putting on love which is the bond of perfection. Trust that God is at work even in this difficult moment to refine and protect you both.

Your cry, help us LORD, is a good and needful cry, and we join you in it before the throne of grace. There has been a long standing quarrel between God and man since our first parents hearkened to the serpent, and the Lord in His goodness has prepared everything necessary for a perfect reconciliation through His Son. Before we seek to be reconciled one to another, we must first be reconciled to God, for He delights in love and is the God of peace, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation in Christ Jesus.
We pray then that you would both know that greater deliverance which is wrought out by the Lord Jesus Christ. He has found a ransom, and through that ransom sinners are delivered from going down to the pit. It is not an arbitrary will but the counsel of His own wisdom and holiness, and that deliverance is eternal for those the Great Shepherd keeps. Seek Him first for forgiveness of sin and peace with God through faith in Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and no other way to be delivered from the power of darkness.
For your quarrel, hear the word of the Lord, overcome evil with good. To return evil for evil is natural and easy, and suggests itself to any, but it does not succeed, it only increases the evil and does more injury to our own souls than any injury received from another. May the Lord teach you both to walk in holiness without hindrance, to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to speak and act with meekness, truth and love. If your reconciliation is to be pursued, pray that it may be in a manner that honors God and conforms to His holy design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is to be kept within that covenant in purity.
We pray for your deliverance from all evil, not as from a pitiless sea or a shut ear, but from a Father who hears and whose arm is mighty to save. He can deliver from the archers that pierce the soul with remorse and terror, from the power of sin as well as the guilt of sin, and from the evil one who would make you doubt your Father. He makes deliverance effectual and brings His people forth with health and strength when the Lamb is slain and His precious blood is trusted.
May the Lord chasten you only in love, keep all your trials within the fence of His overruling providence, and then bring you to say, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. We commit you to Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will, beseeching Him to grant you repentance, faith, peace, and holiness, and to keep you from evil, in Jesus Christ's most precious name.
