We hear your cry for help and we stand with you together against every work of darkness in your workplace, and we thank you for calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is power in that name alone.
We want to remind you that witchcraft is real and is forbidden by God, yet it has no authority over those who belong to Christ. The scripture says There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery Deuteronomy 18:10. And we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we do not fear birds flying about or any sign or omen, for God alone is sovereign and He watches over His children. To assign spiritual power to birds is to give fear a place where God wants faith, and we choose to put our trust fully in Jesus.
We also understand the heavy sleep and oppression you describe that makes it difficult to complete your tasks. This can be a form of spiritual heaviness, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The enemy would love to bring weariness and confusion to hinder the work God has given you to do, but we rebuke that spirit of heaviness and slumber in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.
We encourage you to daily put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, to remain in prayer and in the Word, to worship even quietly in your workplace, and to walk in holiness and diligence. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, knowing that God sees your faithfulness. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Do not engage with witchcraft or seek to return evil, but overcome evil with good, and keep your focus on Christ. Ensure also that you are caring for your body with proper rest and nourishment, for God works through both spiritual and practical means.
We pray together now for you and your fellow worker for God's guidance and protection.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we lift up Your children who are facing oppression at work. We ask You to cover them with the blood of Jesus and surround them with Your holy angels. We rebuke every assignment of witchcraft, every spell, every spirit of heaviness, slumber, distraction and confusion, and we command it to leave and to go where Jesus sends it, never to return. We ask You to break every chain and cancel every plan of the enemy against them. Fill this workplace with Your light and Your peace, and let no darkness remain. Lord, awaken their minds and bodies, renew their strength, give them clarity, alertness and diligence to complete every task You have set before them with excellence for Your glory. Guide both of them in wisdom, keep their hearts from fear, and let them walk in power, love and a sound mind. Let Your presence be so evident that even those who practice darkness will see that You are with Your children. We thank You that You are their refuge and fortress. We trust You to lead them and to keep them. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We have heard your cry and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to be your Guide and your Keeper in the place where He has set you to labour.
You speak of a heavy sleep and a difficulty in completing your tasks, and of birds flying about and a fear of witchcraft in your workplace. Be assured that the power of the enemy is real, yet it is a vanquished power. From the time when Satan fell, God's purpose has been to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning. The Lord who cast down the mighty from their seats still reigns, and He will lift up the poor and sustain His people. The death warrant has gone out from God against everything that is of the creature and against every proud thing that exalts itself against Him.
Take comfort also in this, that He who will ransom His people from the power of the grave and redeem them from death is well able to redeem you from all lesser evils. If it were easier with omnipotence to raise a body from the sepulchre than to raise a soul from despair, then He who will bring your body from the grave will also bring you up from the pit of present trouble. The Angel who has redeemed you from death will redeem you from all evil. There is no balm in Gilead apart from Calvary, and there is no deliverance apart from Christ Jesus Himself. Salvation is in the Lord our God alone, and truly in Him is the salvation of His people.
We pray that you may know that angelic protection which is promised to those who walk in appointed ways. They move not from wilfulness, but wait upon God to know what they shall do, and dare not lean upon their own understanding. This protection is personal and perpetual to those who abide in the way of duty. Be slow to leave your calling till you have plain indications from providence that you ought to do so, for many a man in moving from his place has been as a bird that has wandered from her nest. Bow your soul to His sovereign will, for by bowing with submission to the will of God we are furnished with unerring guidance. Avoid everything that is evil, and keep yourself from your iniquity by keeping away from all that tempts you to it. Haste is the author of a great deal of mischief, so labour faithfully in your appointed place with childlike trust in providential guidance.
Let your prayer be simple and plain before Him, for Jesus does not need fine words from a conservatory, He is delighted with field flowers plucked from any hedge. Tell Him you are needy and undone without His sovereign grace. You may pray very boldly when you can truly say, Thy will be done. Pray thus with us:
O Lord our God, deliver these Thy servants from all transgressions and remove Thy stroke where it has lain heavy. Forgive sin, which is the root of sorrow, and then in mercy lift the burden of oppression. Break in pieces every work of darkness that would harass them at their labour, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Grant to them and to those joined with them, whom Thou knowest by name, clear guidance according to Thy great principles, strength to watch and to work without that heavy slumber, and grace to complete their tasks with diligence and peace. Keep them in the way where Thy promise holds, and give Thy angels charge over them. Turn them ever more fully from evil ways, and cause them to hear Thy voice which says, Come up here, and to trust only in the blood of Christ for comfort and for victory. We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.
