We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, lifting your family, especially your father, before the throne of God. The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). There is no power in evil eye, black magic, or any form of witchcraft that can stand against the name of Jesus Christ. He has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and most critical step in breaking every chain of darkness over your life and your family.
Now, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and sorcery that has sought to afflict your father and your family. We declare that these spirits have no legal right to operate in your lives because the blood of Jesus Christ covers you. The Word of God says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). We resist every assignment of the enemy against your family in the mighty name of Jesus. We break every curse, hex, spell, and incantation spoken or sent against you, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).
We pray that the Lord would surround your family with His holy angels to guard and protect you. The psalmist declares, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them” (Psalm 34:7). Father, we ask that You dispatch Your warring angels to dismantle every demonic stronghold in the lives of ### and her family. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for a hedge of protection around your father, that no evil would befall him, nor any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen him, Lord, in his body, mind, and spirit. If there has been any involvement in occult practices, either knowingly or unknowingly, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. The Bible warns us, “There shall not be found among you anyone who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If any such things have taken place, we repent on behalf of the family and ask for Your mercy and deliverance.
We declare that your family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil can penetrate that covering. We plead the blood of Jesus over your home, your father, and every member of your family. The blood speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and it cries out for your protection, deliverance, and freedom. We command every spirit of fear, oppression, sickness, and confusion to leave your family now in the name of Jesus. You have no place here, and you must go!
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication (Ephesians 6:18). Fill your home with worship, prayer, and the reading of Scripture. The enemy cannot dwell where the presence of God is invited and honored.
Father God, we ask that You fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, bringing peace, joy, and a fresh revelation of Your love. Pray through the rooms together, and if your father is willing, invite them to lay hands on him and ask for peace over his body and mind.
If you yourselves have ever opened any door to the occult, even small things, out of curiosity, quietly renounce it and be done with it. That is not a dramatic ritual; it is simply closing a door you do not wish to leave open. Then let it go. Fill your home with gratitude, music that honors Christ, and the ordinary, steady things of life. We have seen fear lose its grip when a family simply turns together and says, "Jesus, we belong to you."

Let not your heart be troubled by these shadows. The power of darkness, whether it parade as the evil eye or masquerade as black magic, is but the gloomy realm from which your heavenly Father has already delivered you. "He has delivered us from the power of darkness", this is the sure word of the covenant. What are all the whisperings of sorcery against the voice that said, "Let there be light"? The devil is the father of gloom, but your God is the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation nor shadow of turning. Look not to charms or counter-spells, for that were to honor the darkness you fear. Look to the Father, altogether and alone, for deliverance from the power of sin and every dark art is as much His work as deliverance from guilt.
When the accuser comes, whispering that your father or your household lies under some curse, look that lie in the face. See you not the cloven foot peeping out? It is the devil’s own child, sent to make you doubt your own Father. Tell him to begone. You know too much of your Father to believe He would forget His own. Say to Satan, "Get thee gone; it cannot be. My Father loves me too much for that." The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of your deliverance when the Lamb was slain for you. Nor shall the infernal lion ever rend one sheep whom the Great Shepherd deigns to keep. If God be for you, what enchantment can stand against you? Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
