Help please..

Currently cannot afford enough money to eat correctly and I just turned ### not enough money for a car or college and I've always been able to sing but recently haven't been able to sing or even talk due to lpr and lots of terrible events have been happening financial issues as well my father who we currently live with is struggling and my mother who is a alcoholic is about to be on the streets with my step brother who is only ### old soon because of not enough money to live anywhere decent help us lord

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours in this season of overwhelming struggle. The weight of financial hardship, health battles, and family brokenness is heavy, but we stand with you in faith, believing that God sees every tear and hears every unspoken prayer. You are not forgotten, He collects every one of your sorrows in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address the foundation of our hope: salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, now is the time to confess your need for a Savior. Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through His name alone that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and stand in agreement for His provision and healing.

Your physical needs are urgent, and we declare God’s promise over you: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name, this is not your portion! The Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We pray for creative solutions, open doors for employment, and unexpected blessings to meet your needs. Ask God to lead you to local resources like food banks, churches, or community programs that can provide temporary assistance. Do not hesitate to reach out to believers around you, true faith is demonstrated in action (James 2:15-17).

Your voice is a gift from God, and we refuse to accept the lie that LPR (laryngopharyngeal reflux) has stolen it permanently. We command healing over your vocal cords and throat in Jesus’ name! The same God who gave Zacharias his voice back after muteness (Luke 1:64) can restore yours. Seek medical help if possible, but also stand on God’s Word: "By his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Declare this over your body daily. We also encourage you to worship God in other ways, through prayer, writing, or even silent praise, until your voice returns. He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3), even when they are unspoken.

For your parents and stepbrother, we pray protection and divine intervention. Your mother’s struggle with alcoholism grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30), but we serve a God who delivers the addicted and sets captives free (Luke 4:18). We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name and pray for her to encounter the love of Christ in a tangible way. Ask God to surround her with believers who can support her in recovery. For your father and stepbrother, we pray for provision and wisdom. If there are family members or churches nearby, reach out for temporary shelter or assistance. God can use even the most difficult circumstances to draw hearts to Himself.

We must also address the weight of despair you may be feeling. The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is hopeless, but we declare that hope in Christ is an anchor for your soul (Hebrews 6:19). You are not defined by your circumstances, you are a child of the Most High God! Even in this storm, Jesus is in the boat with you (Mark 4:35-41). Speak life over your situation: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours. Lord, You see every need, every fear, and every tear. We ask You to move powerfully on their behalf. Provide food, shelter, and financial breakthrough in ways that only You can. Heal their voice, restore their strength, and renew their hope. Surround their family with Your protection and provision. Father, we rebuke every spirit of lack, addiction, and despair in Jesus’ name. Let Your light shine in the darkness of their circumstances. Give them wisdom to seek help and faith to trust in Your timing. We declare that this season of struggle will not last forever, You are making a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. We ask all these things according to Your will, for Your glory, and in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. This trial is temporary, but God’s faithfulness is eternal. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). If you have access to a Bible, read Psalm 37 and Psalm 91 daily, they are reminders of God’s care for you. You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer. God is working even when you cannot see it. Trust Him.

We hear how heavy this feels, the money running thin, your voice gone silent, your father struggling, and your mom and little stepbrother facing homelessness. When so many waves crash at once, it’s easy to feel like you’re drowning. Yet the very act of writing this, of asking for prayer, is a sign that hope is still flickering, and we want to sit with you in that hope right now.

A couple of things we’d gently nudge you toward: For your voice, the LPR that’s stolen your ability to sing and even talk, please let a doctor take a look. An ear, nose, and throat specialist or even your primary care doctor can often help calm that down so you can find your voice again. And for the immediate lack of food and the pressure on your family, would you consider reaching out to a local church or a community food pantry? Many churches run them, and they want to be a safe place for neighbors just like you. A simple call to 211 can also connect you with housing and assistance resources for your mom and stepbrother.

Lord Jesus, you see this dear person, every worry, every empty hour, every ache. Please bring relief in the ways only you can: steady provision for food and safe shelter for this family, a clear path for healing their voice, and a shield of protection around that little stepbrother. Quiet their racing heart, and in the chaos, give them Your peace that doesn’t make sense but settles deep. In Your name, Amen.

The burdens you bear are many, and the heart that cries to God in such straits is not unheeded by Him. Yet often we look for an audible voice from the cloud to answer us, some sign or sudden deliverance, when what we most need is the touch of Christ and the still small voice that speaks within. The voice out of the cloud would only dismay; the voice of Jesus cheers and comforts. His blood has a voice that speaks peace, interceding where your own tongue is silenced by affliction. Hear that voice above the clamor of your trials.

It is no small grief to lose the song you once had. The voice of the Lord is full of majesty, and when He permits even the gift of speech to be withdrawn, He has a purpose. The silence He ordains may become a place where His own voice is heard more clearly, the voice behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” Your recent birthday spoke a voice of its own, chiding your lingering and calling you to draw nearer to God than before. Days of trouble are often the Shepherd’s means of gathering His sheep from their wanderings.

Financial want is a piercing trial, yet you must weigh profit and loss with heaven’s scales. To gain the whole world would be a dreadful loss if the soul were neglected. The poverty that drives you to Christ is far richer than the wealth that leaves you secure in sin. Fret not overmuch for the things that perish, though I do not mock your need; the Lord knows you have need of food and shelter. But first seek His kingdom, and all these things shall be added. The voice of the cholera, the ship on fire, the daily mercies, all cry, “Escape for thy life!” Your soul’s eternal safety is the great matter.

Your father’s struggle, your mother’s bondage to drink, the peril of your young stepbrother, these are sorrows that bow the heart. Yet the voice from heaven still cries to them, “Come up hither,” and to you the same voice says, “Here is the patience of the saints.” Pray for them, speak to them of the blood that cleanses, and trust God’s majestic voice to shake the wilderness of their hearts. No prodigal is beyond the recall of that voice which wakes the dead.

Do not suppose that your prayers are lost because no miracle appears. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars and shakes the wilderness, but it also whispers peace through the blood of the covenant. The voice of conscience may accuse, but the blood of Jesus speaks louder for forgiveness. Wait on Him, open your ear to the word behind you, and soon you shall hear the Shepherd’s voice before you, leading you into green pastures.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
