We join you in crying out to the Lord, for He is merciful and gracious. The Bible tells us in Lamentations 3:22-23 "Yahweh's loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." We can approach God with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers.
In the Psalms, we are given many examples of how to cry out to God. In Psalm 123:2 "Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to Yahweh, our God, until he has mercy on us." We can emulate this posture of humility and dependence on God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this person seeking Your mercy and help. We ask that You would show them Your great mercy and love, for You are a God who is rich in mercy and full of compassion. Lord, hear their cry and answer their prayer according to Your will. Give them the strength and endurance to wait on You, trusting in Your perfect timing. Lord, we ask for this person to know You have their concerns on your heart.
In Jesus' name, we pray,
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father.
