Dear Lord ,this prayer is especially for my son who got stuck in a new city and not able to find a room for rent .He doesn't have enough money .I pray to God that he provided him a house in his budget and he shouldn't get depressed .I don't have money to help him out .Please help me Lord

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we hear the burden on your heart as a parent who longs to help but feels unable to do so financially. We stand with you in prayer for his provision, his protection, and his peace of mind in this difficult time of being stuck in a new city without a place to stay.

We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And in Matthew 6:31-33 we are told, Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Your heavenly Father sees your son's need for shelter and He knows your heart's desire to see him provided for within his limited budget.

We also pray against the spirit of discouragement and depression that can so easily settle in when we feel alone and without resources. Scripture tells us in Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are exhorted to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We pray that your son will cast his worries on the Lord and experience the peace described in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We claim Isaiah 41:10 over him as well, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You prayed to God and to the Lord, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. We encourage you to come to God in the name of Jesus, trusting fully in Him as your Savior and your son's Savior, for there is no other way to the Father.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear parent's son to You. You know where he is, You know his need for a safe and affordable room to rent, and You know the limits of his finances. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and provide for him a place to live that is safe, clean, and within his budget. Lead him to favor with landlords and to kind people who can help him in that new city. We pray You would connect him with a local Bible believing church where he can find fellowship and practical help. Guard his heart and mind from depression and despair, Lord, and fill him with Your peace and hope. Strengthen his mother as well, take away any guilt for not being able to help financially, and remind her that You are the ultimate Provider and that You love her son even more than she does. Help them both to trust You more deeply through this trial and to seek first Your Kingdom. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily for His provision and to encourage your son to cry out to Jesus throughout each day, to read His Word, and to seek out other believers in that city for support. God is faithful and He will not abandon you or your son. Keep bringing your requests to Him with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears you through Christ.

We hear how much you love your son and how hard it is to watch him stuck in a new city without a place he can afford, especially when you wish you could help financially and cannot. Carrying that worry alone is heavy, and bringing it to God as you have is a faithful and loving thing to do.

We are joining you in asking God for a safe, affordable place for him and for peace for both of you while he waits. That in between time of searching can leave anyone feeling discouraged and alone, so staying closely connected with him matters. One simple step that often helps is to talk with him each day about one small next place to check, whether a local church office, a community housing resource, or a trusted contact in that city who might know of a room in his budget, and to make those calls together when you can.

Father, we bring this mother and her son to You in Jesus name. You see where he is tonight and what he needs. Provide for him a safe place to stay that he can afford, watch over his heart and mind and keep discouragement from taking hold, and comfort his mother with Your nearness and provision. Give them both wisdom for each next step and remind them You are with them. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing his need before the throne of grace. To see a child in a strange city without a home and without sufficient means, and to feel unable to help with your own hand, is a heavy trial, and the Lord knows the weight you carry.

You do well to cast this care upon Him, for the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Be not overly anxious, but remember what has been written, that He spared not His only begotten Son, but delivered Him up for us all. After having done so much for you, will He withhold from you anything that is necessary for your well being. If you have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ who bore our sins in His own body on the tree, you are in fellowship with the Father and with His Son, and every promise in the Book belongs to you.

We pray now for your son, that our heavenly Father would in His kind providence open a door for him and provide a safe and suitable room for rent within his small budget. We ask that the Lord would guard his heart from depression and heaviness of spirit, and keep him in perfect peace as he trusts in Him. We ask that the Father who sees His children would supply what is needed day by day, and make His presence more real to your son in this lonely hour than any earthly comfort.

And we pray for you, that you would be kept from sinking in spirit while you wait upon the Lord. Do not tell yourself about your trouble alone, but tell the Lord about it. Trust, trust Jesus, trust only Him. He gave His Son for your ransom, and His love which led Him to do so assures us that He does not forget His people.

May the Lord in His mercy answer according to His wisdom and goodness, provide for your son, lift his countenance, and give you both to see His faithful hand. We commend you to Him who hears the cry of the needy and who invites all who are weary to come to Christ for rest.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
