We lift up your dear friend before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. We know the weight of concern you carry, and we stand with you in faith, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Your friend’s diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis is serious, but we serve a God who is greater than any illness. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We hold fast to this promise, declaring that God is her healer and that His mercy endures forever. We also take comfort in James 5:14-15, which says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
We pray not only for physical healing but also for strength and peace for your friend and her family as they walk through this trial. May they feel the presence of the Holy Spirit surrounding them, comforting them, and giving them hope. We ask that the Lord guide the hands of her doctors and medical team, granting them wisdom and discernment in her treatment. Let every step of her care be ordered by God, and may she experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for endurance and faith for your friend. May she cling to the truth of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let her know that she is never alone, for the Lord is her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the truth that God’s plans for your friend are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon our sister. We believe in Your power to restore, renew, and make whole. Strengthen her body, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways. Surround her with Your love and the support of Your people. Give her family patience, wisdom, and unwavering faith as they care for her. We trust in Your perfect will, knowing that whether in healing or in endurance, Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also lift up the medical professionals treating her. Grant them divine insight and skill as they work to bring her relief and restoration. May Your hand guide every decision and every treatment, leading to her full recovery.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of prayer and the privilege of coming before You on behalf of our sister. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You hear our cries and answer according to Your will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your healing power be made manifest for all to see.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
