We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you and your family before the Lord in the days since you shared your heavy burden and we continue to remember you.
We have been praying specifically for the deep grief and depression you have carried since your husband passed a year ago, for the days when you do not want to leave your room and you do not want to wake up and wish to pass away in your sleep. We have asked the Lord to comfort your broken heart and to be near to you as He promises in Psalm 34:18 and to heal your broken heart as He promises in Psalm 147:3, to lift the heaviness and give you strength for each day and hope for the future. We have also been praying for your daughter, for her deliverance from drug use and from the abusive relationship that has brought her into such danger and has led to her being in a coma so many times, for protection from the violence that has entered your home, from the smashing of the house and the harm you have suffered when she is intoxicated and from the former boyfriend who has choked her and damaged your home. We have prayed for her to be willing to turn from drugs and from that man and to receive help. We have prayed for your housing need as you face the loss of the home to repossession, that God would provide a safe place for you to live and wisdom for the difficult decisions about boundaries with your daughter, and for your son as he has tried to help his sister and has offered you a place to stay. We ask God to give you all wisdom and peace and protection and to make a way where there seems to be no way.
If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for as long as it takes.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray for you now, Father we lift this dear sister and her family to You, we ask You to surround her with Your comfort and presence in her mourning, to hold her in her depression and to give her desire to live, to keep her safe, to set her daughter free from addiction and abuse and to break the hold of violence in that home, to provide safe housing and wise counsel and to restore this family according to Your will. We ask all these things in Jesus Name. Amen.
