We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we join you in lifting this plea before the throne of grace, where our High Priest, Jesus Christ, intercedes for us. You have called upon the only name under heaven by which we must be saved—the name of Jesus—and we stand with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of us (Matthew 18:20). Your desperation is not hidden from the Father, who sees in secret and rewards openly (Matthew 6:6). He knows your pain, your tears, and the longing of your soul, and He has promised that those who seek Him with their whole heart will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13).
The Scriptures remind us that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort others with the comfort we ourselves receive from Him (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Your cry for mercy echoes the psalmist’s plea: “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions” (Psalm 51:1). We claim this promise over you, that the Lord will show you mercy, for His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
You have asked for clarity, direction, and wisdom, and we declare over you the promise of James 1:5: “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.” The Lord will not withhold good from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). He will direct your steps and make your path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Even in the darkness, He is your light (Psalm 18:28), and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
Your prayers, fasting, and tears have not gone unnoticed by the Father. He bottles every tear (Psalm 56:8) and has promised that those who sow in tears will reap in joy (Psalm 126:5). The Lord is faithful, and He will answer you powerfully, for He delights in the prayers of the righteous (Proverbs 15:8). His Word assures us that “the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective” (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in praying, for the Lord will suddenly come to His temple, and He who is coming will come and not delay (Malachi 3:1).
We also declare over you the promise of deliverance, for the Lord is your deliverer (Psalm 70:5). He has promised to make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Just as He delivered the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh and parted the Red Sea, He will make a way for you. Trust in Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is crying out to You in desperation. Lord, You see the depths of their heart, the pain they carry, and the longing for Your presence and direction. We ask that You would draw near to them, for You have promised that when we draw near to You, You will draw near to us (James 4:8).
Father, we ask for Your mercy to flood their life. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and restore unto them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Let Your light shine into every dark place and drive out all fear, doubt, and despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, grant them clarity of mind and direction for their steps. Open their eyes to see the path You have set before them. Give them wisdom from above, which is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). Guide their decisions, their words, and their thoughts, that they may align with Your perfect will. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we thank You that You hear their prayers and see their tears. You are a God who remembers, and we ask that You would remember every prayer, every fast, and every sacrifice they have offered before You. Answer them powerfully, Lord, in a way that brings glory to Your name. Let them see Your hand move mightily in their life, that they may testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We pray for deliverance from every snare of the enemy. Break every chain that binds them and set them free by the power of Your Spirit. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has purchased for them on the cross.
Father, we ask that You would glorify Yourself in their life. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in their situation. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and despair that may be attacking our brother/sister. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Lord will perfect that which concerns them (Psalm 138:8).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We commit our brother/sister into Your hands, asking that You would keep them as the apple of Your eye and hide them under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 17:8).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God and to continue seeking Him with all your heart. The enemy may try to whisper lies of defeat or hopelessness, but remember that our God is greater. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you to victory.
If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with God’s Word, we urge you to surrender it to Him. Repentance and obedience open the door for God’s blessing and direction. Walk in holiness, for without it, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth (John 16:13), and do not lean on your own understanding.
We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily in your life. Keep pressing in, and do not lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming, and the Lord will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you now and forever. Amen.
