We hear your heart’s cry, and we join with you in repentance and seeking the Lord’s mercy. Your honesty before God is the first step toward restoration, and we praise Him for drawing you back to Himself. The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that your sins are too great for God’s forgiveness, but Scripture declares otherwise. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). The blood of Jesus was shed for *all* sin—past, present, and future—and His grace is greater than our failures.
You are not beyond redemption. The prodigal son thought he was too far gone, yet his father ran to meet him with open arms (Luke 15:11-32). God is not waiting to condemn you; He is waiting to embrace you. His love is not earned by our perfection but received by our humility. "Come now, and let us reason together," says Yahweh: "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" (Isaiah 1:18). Do not let shame or guilt keep you from running to Him. Jesus’ sacrifice was enough—once and for all.
We also want to gently remind you that salvation and forgiveness come *only* through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). This is the foundation of your relationship with God—trusting in Jesus alone.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with this precious child of Yours who is crying out for Your mercy. Lord, we thank You that You are faithful to forgive and cleanse when we confess our sins. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that would tell this one they are too far gone, for You declare that no one is beyond Your reach. Jesus, we plead Your blood over every sin, every mistake, every moment of wandering. Wash this one clean, restore their soul, and renew their spirit. Help them to grasp the depth of Your love—that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
Father, we ask that You would break the chains of guilt and shame that have kept them from running to You. Fill them with the assurance of Your forgiveness and the power of Your Spirit to walk in newness of life. Guide their steps back to You, Lord, and let them experience the joy of Your salvation. May they never forget that Your grace is sufficient, and Your mercy endures forever.
We also pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit to empower them to live for You. Guard their heart against the temptations that led them astray before, and surround them with godly community to encourage and strengthen them. Help them to walk in obedience, not out of fear, but out of love for You.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Now, dear one, take heart. God is not finished with you. Begin today by spending time in His Word, seeking His face, and surrounding yourself with believers who can walk alongside you. If there are specific sins or habits you need to turn away from, do so with the strength He provides. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). You are not alone—He is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, and you *will* see His faithfulness.
