Help me to understand if I'm praying the right way

Lord some time I wonder if I'm praying correctly and do you hear my prayers. Help me to pray correctly. I pray for happiness, to stop being depressed. My ### to get approved for an apartment as soon as possible. My other ### arrive at her destination safely tomorrow and return back home safely on Sunday. My ### get his life on track and build a relationship with his ###. And that can financially keep my apartment. In Jesus Name. Amen
