Help me to start praying for others again.

I would like to ask all of you to pray for me regarding praying for others.

I have been a member on here for a while now and used to find it easy to pray for others and their requests, but over the last few months I have found it difficult to actually find the right words when answering a request.

It's as though I have a block when I try to put into words what I need to say.

I can sit here and pray over the requests as I read them, but when it comes to answering a request something seems to stop me.

I can't quote scripture as well as some of the other members here, and sometimes I suffer from low self esteem and feel that may be adding to my problems.

Just be yourself Chris, a simple prayer from the heart is the best, it need not be complicated.

Lord, I pray You help Chris to post prayers again, as it is on his heart to do so. I pray he finds the words that are right for him. No one is the same, You made each one of us unique. I pray You help him trust that his prayer from the heart is just what someone will need and will be the blessing someone needs on this board. Thank You for his faithfulness in visiting and praying on this board silently. You have heard his prayers and we thank You for all his prayers for all of us. In Jesus Name. amen

Hi Chris! No problem, I will pray for you. I know EXACTLY how you feel, yet I dont always know how to describe it. Thanks for your sincerity, and dont worry about quoting scripture... I need practice with that myself. No matter how many or how few words we say in our prayers, God understands us. Man, He's cool! hehe Have a blessed week!!!!!!!!!

All prayer, be is simple or eloquent, is uplifting and encouraging.

I pray that God will speak to your heart and mind, opening the channels of your soul. Many times, just to know someone is praying is the greatest blessing of all. Remember, scripture says that when we cannot find the words, the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf. Whether you are praying for others in quiet prayer at your monitor, or posting a written reply, You are serving God by loving your brothers and sisters in the same way God loves you. May God fill you with His presence and blessing. We're glad you're here.

Lord, I stand with Chris today. I have walked where he is standing. There have been times in my life when I couldn't pray for others or even myself. I know how Chris feels. We want so much to help each other and this site is so perfect for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit through the prayer warriors. I thank you and praise you for Chris, for the beautiful prayers he has offered up in the past and for the prayers he will say in the future. Place your hand upon hiim. Fill his heart with love and joy and peace. I stand with the prayer warriors and Chris and together we come before you. Pour out your blessings on Chris that his heart will be overflowing. Clear his mind that his words will be full of compassion and that he will again be a blessing to those coming to this site for prayer.

I too struggled with what Chris is struggling with today. You showed me all I had to do was say the name Jesus and he would carry me. Today Jesus, I ask that you carry Chris as you did me.

I stand in the gap and come against those things that come from darkness and the farther of lies. I send them back to whence they came. I bind them up with the power of Jesus blood. Satan, no weapon formed against Chris will prosper and you must release my friend, in Christ's, mind and thoughts because we serve the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings and he is the only God worthy to be praised.

Father I ask that you give Chris the words in his hour of need to pray for others and bless him as he continues to bless others. Show him he is the child of God and all things are possible when we forget ourself and seek your will. Heal his heart and mind, make your word anew and refresh his memory as he helps others. Lord, I too seem at a loss for Words, It matters most what is in our hearts when we pray for others, Lord. Lord give Chris the encouragement he needs Lord, to let him know we understand, we all are human Lord, that not being able to quote scripture, (I, myself, have a bible by my computer) is OK with us Here on this site Lord, Some of us are baby Christians Learning the Word, and Reborn Christians Re-Learning as myself, and some know a great deal and are able to quote scriptures for us to remember and use over and over again. That is the beauty of this site, We all have the most important thing in Common and that is We Love the Lord, and are doing our very best to Listen to him and live as he tells us. The Lord knows what is in your heart, and we do too, That is all that really matters. Lord, I pray you guide Chris each day, built his self-esteem to know We are gathered together on this site to Praise your Name and to Do your Will, Praying Silently or in writing, either way Lord, You know our hearts, and we know Chris is Your Child, and you will lead him, In Jesus Name Amen
